They may not be the longest lasting batteries, but the ease of opening the package makes up for it. I'm 78 with arthritic hands, and the struggle with scissors to open the packages of some brands was very unpleasant.

I tried this brand because so many others, including the brand i have used for years, have gone to "child-resistant" packaging...which ends up being more trouble than its worth. The packaging on these was easy opening...maybe too much: The plastic ring that contains the batteries is so loosely attached to the cardboard backing that they fall out easily. The box arrived crushed, which in turn crushed the inner packages, which let batteries fall out. Some were even out of the box completely and laying in the bottom of the Amazon shipping envelope! Another issue is that more than half of the batteries were "dented"...this meant that they would not make contact in my hearing aids and were useless. I'll keep looking for decent batteries in easy but sturdy packaging, but these aren't it. ... show more

however easy to open package--and that is tremendous--the batteries do not have a long life use. At first they were lasting 7 days, but now they are only 3 days.you get what you pay 4

    • GET USED TO SAYING : THESE THINGS ARE all DEAD ON ARRIVAL
Better buy these one pack at a time--I bought 6 packs of 30 each. The first pack was moderately ok. 2 day life is typical for my aids and that's what I got. After that they not only didn't last a day, After 2 months of that THEY DID NOT WORK AT ALL. EVERY ONE OF THE TEN I TRIED WAS DEAD DEAD DEAD. Tried another 30-pack. EVERY ONE DEAD. G'luck getting a refund. If you're going to buy them at all (NOT smart) one pack at a time ... show more
