So I start to round off my crankshaft bolt on my new to me Lexus. I see this has the 22mm I need to try so I give it a shot. No instructions with it but YouTube has em. Tapped with a hammer right on to the damaged bolt. Really, tapping firmly let's it bite into the damaged bolt. I needed to develop some enormous torque with. 3/4 breaker and 5 ft pipe. This was exactly what we needed to get lug nuts off our rear tires on our 2002 GMC Yukon. The last owner was a mechanic with power tools who OVER TIGHTENED the lugs pretty much fusing them to the rims turning a should be 1 day quick brake job into a nightmare and had to wait for these life savers to come which I am so glad my wife ordered them. These coupled with my 24" breaker bar and every ounce of strength I could muster took those terrible lugs off. Other emergency removal kit we picked up at nearby auto store was only a one time use and we needed to remove 7 more stuck lugs & the auto store only had 2 more in stock. Thankfully we finally got these instead which worked awesome and are reusable unlike the other ones.     • Worked well on Locking lug nuts where key was lost.
Worked well on locking lug nuts where key was lost. Tapped the socket on the lug nut with a brass hammer. Then, using a breaker bar, and bracing the wrench, applied counter clockwise pressure until the nut started to move. This may take several attempts, where you may need to hammer this wrench on pretty hard. The use of a air impact wrench is not recommended. All 4 of the lug nuts were successfully removed. Since the internal spider pattern was not damaged, they will still function as originally intended if the key is ever found. ... show more

For regular lugnuts this no doubt works perfect and is worth every penny. If you want to extract things like lock nuts, it’s really a hit or miss. After trying for a good 15 minutes I Needed to borrow a coworkers set to get some off. Embarazzing!
