This box has been my first experience with an automatic cat box. I love it when it works right and having the waste bag sealed is wonderful. It does tend to have issues with clumps falling on the door and wont auto clean until they are manually cleared. Sometimes the bag wont seal but usually it does. When this happens I cut it and tie the end off for the next bag, easy enough. I think my biggest takeaway is not all clumping litters are the same. We had to try a few before we found one that did not cause issues with the automation process. Also make sure you keep it topped off or it will all harden and it becomes a mess to clean up. Edit: Bumped the rating from 3 to 4 star due to on the ball customer support.

This is a excellent cat box. It's clean and make emptying very easy. I would recommend this to anybody. It's quiet and easy to use. Only complaint is app need a little work but it's useable. Keeps smell down dramatically.

I’ve been using this automatic litter box daily since December 21st (1 month) with two cats weighing around 9 lbs each, and while the concept sounds great on paper, the real-world execution has been consistently frustrating. What works: - The unit is very quiet, which is a big plus. - The safety sensors are excellent. The machine reliably detects when a cat is nearby and stops immediately, which is one of the few features I truly trust. Major problems that outweigh the benefits: 1. Poor internal hygiene & odor control The rotating mechanism that separates clean litter from clumps causes waste residue to spread across the interior walls. As a result, the inside gets dirty very quickly. The deodorizing tablet is not effective enough to control odors once the interior is coated with residue. I have to wipe the inside almost daily with disinfectant wipes, which completely defeats the purpose of an automatic litter box. 2. Highly inefficient waste bag system The auto-packing feature uses far more bag material than necessary. Even when the unit alerts that the trash box is “full,” the sealed bag is often only about one-third filled, with the rest being trapped air. With two cats, I receive “trash box full” notifications every other day, sometimes on consecutive days. 3. Unreliable bag sealing Approximately 3 to 4 times out of 10, the bag does not seal properly. Removing it becomes stressful because if the seal fails, the bag can open or tear while being lifted, creating a mess. 4. Mandatory proprietary refills You can only use the manufacturer’s refill bags. The unit includes two refills, and both were consumed within one month. This represents a significant ongoing cost, in addition to litter. 5. Refill availability is a serious concern Replacement refills are currently not available anywhere, with no clear restock date. Without refills, the machine becomes unusable, forcing you back to manual scooping despite having invested in an expensive device. 6. App reliability issues After auto-packing completes and a new bag is automatically loaded, the app consistently sends a notification saying “No trash bag detected,” even though a bag is clearly in place. Final verdict: While the idea behind this litter box is innovative, the execution is not reliable enough for daily use, especially in a multi-cat household. Between the constant cleaning, wasted consumables, unreliable sealing, and dependency on hard-to-find proprietary refills, this product does not justify its price. At its current state, I cannot recommend it, unless significant improvements are made to the waste system, app reliability, and refill availability.
