My 86 yr. old mother with severe hearing loss, has been fighting with a pair of $5000 hearing aids. She bought them two years ago and they worked good the first year but nothing but problems since then. They were sent in for cleaning and checking after first year. She must have got someone else's problems back, because we have been at the Audiologists at least once a month for the last year. I was so fed up I bought her a pair of these and only two days but she is thrilled. Only thing I see(or hear) is once in a while they have some squealing feedback. She must be by something that they don't like lol! I shopped for a replacement to my expensive hearing set. I needed to hear voices more clearly. The set the hearing aid center/Dr. sold me only made it louder, which was not helpful. After careful research I tried the BLJ Hearing Aid Rechargeable for Adults and Seniors with Noise Reduction and Intelligent Feed... The main selling point was the 5 star reviews. At first I had trouble with squealing, but after reading the booklet that comes with hearing aids it was corrected. I needed the larger size ear domes. Emailing the company provided quick customer service with suggestions that were helpful. At this point I feel like the hearing aid purchase was a 5 star experience. The customer service from the company is great. I had issues with the device, after the 30 day return window. They reached out to me and offered to replace the product or give me a full refund. I had already replaced the device with a new pair from a different company. They promptly refunded me. I have never experienced that type of customer service. This was the 3rd time we purchased these... same identical model, but sold as different brands. The first 2 worked great. But, my husband lost the first pair. Then he set the second pair on the coffee table and our puppy found them and chewed them up. Since they had both worked well, we ordered a third set. This time one was fine but the other kept squealing! After days of trying, and very slow correspondence back and forth, we noticed that they had actually sent 2 RIGHT hearing devices and no LEFT! I purchased the BLJ hearing aids as a spare pair to own, since they are rechargeable and my old hearing aids use batteries. After wearing the BLJ hearing aids for a few days, I am so pleased with their amplification, comfort, simplicity, and noise reduction, which has also made it easy to ignore my tinnitus. The BLJ hearing aids will now be my primary pair, especially since they simply work better overall than the very expensive pair that I have owned for years. Battery life once charged lasted than 3 hours after being fully charged. Tried to contact their support via email and after many tries gave up.
