The media could not be loaded. This product is uniquely designed to measure long distances (up to 165 feet) outdoors It uses a red dot laser which is difficult to see in daylight. But, it has an internal camera which you aim at the object to measure. Once cross hairs appear in the image, like a gun scope, you press a button and get the reading in feet our meters. In broad daylight, I measured a tree trunk’s distance up to 122 feet. I was able to shoot distances around a property quicker than using a wheel. For one measure, there was no barrier so my companion walked to the property line and I measured to his back. It has an app that records the measures, but it needs improvement I highly recommend this product.

This little but mighty tool does the trick every time. I’ve tested this at a few job sites over the past two weeks and it’s been extremely accurate and fairly easy to use. We even compared it to a few of our previous models to see which one would be the most effective and the S7 was always the closest measuring within a hundredth of an inch. Overall, this was easier to use vs the Dewalt. Another positive to note would be the durability when working in the elements. We got our first snowfall the other day and this thing held up like a champ. Adding it to my everyday bag for all our go to projects. At this point I really don’t have much bad to say about the S7, but I will continue to field test it and update this review if anything comes up. It saves you time and money in the long run, which is what you want in any tool.

I recently purchased the laser measurement tool, and I'm extremely impressed with its performance and features. This laser measure has made my home improvement projects more efficient and accurate. I like that it has rechargeable batteries. The accuracy of the measurements is spot-on, and I've used it for everything from measuring room dimensions to calculating wall areas for painting plus you can easily calibrate it. The display is clear and easy to read, even in lit environments, and the user friendly. The best part in my opinion is the fact that it has a camera and I can accurately see where I need to measure as well as the laser itself of course. I totally recommend it because it has exceeded my expectations 100%.

Point to point, app integration and camera were main reasons for the purchase. P to P does not work at all. It just subtracts one measurement from the other. I don't get whatever the math is that a P to P measurement would need but this unit doesn't either. I think an expensive Leica is the only option and that's a bit above my pay grade. App integration. Website implies that it integrates with more than one app. Might be a language problem but that's the impression the site gives. The one app it works with is not that great. Tried to get another app to read its Bluetooth but no go. I wrote the app developer and he said that he's tried to get the Mileseey to connect but that they have some weird encryption thing and he was unable to code his app to be able to see the Mileseey unit. Weird right? I thought so. The camera does not zoom. Website did not indicate that it would. I did a side by side comparison with the Bosch GLM 400CL which does zoom. Huge difference in functionality and not a huge difference in price. For the short money difference, the Bosch is a superior unit and integrates easily with other phone drawing apps. Returned the Mileseey given the misleading issues.
