I tried many different hearing aids on Amazon but these are the best for me. Very good volume, little feedback, small. The only two things that could be improved are: 1. Chargeable (currently they use batteries) 2. The volume button is hard to press. Otherwise, they work great for me.

I bought a pair of the identical amplifiers, same brand, same seller, two and a half years ago. They are still working perfectly. Worn every day, about 14 hours per day, for two and a half years. I just got this pair to wear daily and will use the old ones as backups. I wrote a review of these when I got them two and a half years ago. Here is what I said. It applies to the new pair also. I've been wearing hearing aids for over 30 years. In the past have gotten the low end and also the higher priced aids. I just bought two of the BLJ Hearing Amplifiers. They are a true bargain at the price I paid. I have had a moderate hearing loss since I was a child. I've used many pairs of fitted hearing aids over the years and have paid a small fortune. .The sound on these is as clear a bell. No distortion. These are great for people with a moderate hearing loss. ... show more

I have pretty significant hearing loss and have been using this while awaiting my hearing aid order. For $95, I can't complain. The hearing aid amplified sound and at least allowed me to have conversations with people. The quality of the sound is not good, however. I've found it impossible to dial in a good program/ volume setting that allows watching tv and talking to people. There's distortion. Also, don't expect the quality to sound like your favorite headphones. The sound is tinny and reminds me of the days of AM radios.     • Life Enhancing for a few Dollars !

I am a dive boat captain in the Caribbean, and was finding it difficult to follow guests conversations, and whilst I had expensive hearing aids for social and evening use, I could not use them whilst working as they would stop working when they got wet, from either spray or sweat. I was recommended these amplifiers by another captain, and although I did not think something so cheap would be any good I bought a pair. However they have proved to be excellent, I can now follow most conversations with ease, and they have proved to be very reliable and resistant to spray and sweat. They did take a little time to get used to, and yes they do whistle a bit, but it can be managed, and is a small price to pay to be able to hear so well. I have also had issues with the battery compartment breaking off, but they can still be used. Also the customer service has been excellent so far and are sending out replacement battery compartments to me. So they are not perfect but for the price they are remarkable and good value. ... show more

After reading the glowing user reviews, I decided to try these hearing amplifiers--for both ears. Well, they lived up to the excellent reviews and I don't know what I would do without them; I can share this with confidence because I had tried other brands. BLJ Flagship customer service (available through Amazon) is top rate, too. The volume and program control button is so easy to adjust with your finger while in the ear--this is critical to achieve the best hearing possible and is not so readily controlled in many other brands. There are also two things I have learned to be important for my use with optimum results: (1) Take the time to experiment and find the ear tips that work best for the shape and fit of your ear canals; several sizes and shapes are included with your purchase. This limits the whistling and guarantees excellent hearing. (2) Utilize a drying device (that works best for me) or the case that comes with the amplifier to insure evaporation of moisture that can shorten the life of the device or cut down on its effectiveness. ... show more

This item will not replace a hearing instrument that is geared to my particular needs. Yet it is sufficient to help me enough to hear well enough to get by. Being in the ear hearing aid helps me when I have to wear glasses and a mask. ,With my behind the ear aids plus the glasses and a mask is a nightmare. I would buy this product again ... show more
