I am a dive boat captain in the Caribbean, and was finding it difficult to follow guests conversations, and whilst I had expensive hearing aids for social and evening use, I could not use them whilst working as they would stop working when they got wet, from either spray or sweat. I was recommended these amplifiers by another captain, and although I did not think something so cheap would be any good I bought a pair. However they have proved to be excellent, I can now follow most conversations with ease, and they have proved to be very reliable and resistant to spray and sweat. They did take a little time to get used to, and yes they do whistle a bit, but it can be managed, and is a small price to pay to be able to hear so well. I have also had issues with the battery compartment breaking off, but they can still be used. Also the customer service has been excellent so far and are sending out replacement battery compartments to me. So they are not perfect but for the price they are remarkable and good value.

If I don't have my BLJ HEARING AID I can't function very well. I feel lost without my BLJ HEARING AID !! THE REASON i DIDN'T GIVE IT 5 STARS, IS BECAUSE THE BATTERIES DON'T LAST VERY LONG. COUPLE OF DAYS IF U KEEP IT ON HIGH VOLUME. PLS NOTE : THESE AIDS ARE VERY SMALL. ( I PERSONALLY LIKE THAT FACTOR). But if u have butter-fingers or are supposed to be wearing glasses , u may not like them being so small !!! But they work better than any other hearing aid I've ever bought (approx 20 or so) HOPE THIS HELPS ALL WHO ARE SHOPPING FOR HEARING AIDS. GOD BLESS ! And don't forget to: LET GO AND LET GOD †

I bought this for my right ear, to cure my "Husband Hearing". It works great and is reasonably priced. I recommend that you register your device as soon as you receive it in order to activate the warranty. They responded immediately when I had a problem after about 5 months. I was replacing the wax guard with a new one and I messed it up and caused the device to malfunction. They responded immediately and tried to help me fix the problem but without success, so they sent me a new one, no charge. That's the kind of customer service that I like.

first- blj hearing aids ok for the hearing however no way to contact this company. battery broke noway to make contact so i called Amazon person I talked could not speak that I could understand. hearing very good service very poor.

I bought two of these in August of ‘25. The blue one stopped working in October. The red one was okay. Today I received the new blue one. Within a half hour the red one stopped working. I had bought these originally ten years ago and the first set worked well for six years. Since then I have had to replace them three times. Never again! The quality has definitely gone downhill. Save yourself the trouble, do what I did and buy something else.

I bought a pair of the identical amplifiers, same brand, same seller, two and a half years ago. They are still working perfectly. Worn every day, about 14 hours per day, for two and a half years. I just got this pair to wear daily and will use the old ones as backups. I wrote a review of these when I got them two and a half years ago. Here is what I said. It applies to the new pair also. I've been wearing hearing aids for over 30 years. In the past have gotten the low end and also the higher priced aids. I just bought two of the BLJ Hearing Amplifiers. They are a true bargain at the price I paid. I have had a moderate hearing loss since I was a child. I've used many pairs of fitted hearing aids over the years and have paid a small fortune. .The sound on these is as clear a bell. No distortion. These are great for people with a moderate hearing loss.

I rarely write reviews but I felt this one was needed. First, the PROS: 1) Extremely small (which could be a con if you have trouble handling small things). 2) Seven levels of volume. I have moderate to severe hearing loss but was able to hear clearly with the volume around 4 or 5 3) Excellent sound quality. I've tried several different brands of hearing amplifiers/aids but the sound from this one has them all beat 4) Nicely packaged 5) Several accessories: case, cleaning brush with a magnet, extra domes in small, medium, and large, extra wax guard rings with a wax guard ring replacement tool, a pack of Rayovac batteries 6) Excellent customer service...which leads me to the cons Cons (Really only one but it's huge) These things simply do not last much longer than a couple of months, and more often than not, they last less than two months but just past the warranty expiration date, with one exception: I bought a pair in 2020. One of the aids just quit without warning (which seems to always be the case). The one that quit started back working a few weeks later and lasted about six months before it quit permanently. I bought a pair this past March of 2024, one of them quit at just over three weeks. But the customer service was excellent and they promptly replaced it. I've been buying this brand off and on since 2020, trying other brands in between. I work in the funeral industry so it's not like the aids are exposed to harsh treatment. I've tried my best to keep them going as long as possible. I've tried dehumidifiers, I've tried leaving them out in the open at night, I've tried a "drying" case that came from one of the other brands that I tried, I've tried leaving them in the case that comes with the aids. I keep them very clean, cleaning each time I replace a battery (about every other day). If anyone has any tips on how to make these last longer then I'd love to hear it My final thought: At $98 each, or $190+ for a pair, the price isn't bad. But if each pair is only going to last about ~6-8 weeks on average, the cost quickly adds up. Until BLJ can make a product that lasts longer than a few weeks, I will not be buying from them again. Excellent product while it lasts but it doesn't last long at all. If you decide to buy, buy extra. Lots extra
