These hearing aids provide clear sound and are comfortable. The left one charges much more slowly than the right, at least according to the lights. There is no way to determine if it’s the case or the hearing aid. The unit does charge and does work so I guess I shouldn't worry over it. The stabilizing bar on the right unit is bent the wrong way and has to be tucked in the front of my ear, but sometimes won’t stay and I end up just letting it stick out. The booklet says that the eartips should be replaced every three to six months, but there is no information on how to obtain more. This next part is due to me not the hearing aids. My ability to get along with the controls is uneven. Some days I turn them on and off and if I need to change volume it all goes as it should. Other times I cannot get the buttons to respond or when they do I end up going to other than the standard ‘program’ (the ‘Restaurant’ program works!) when the button finally does respond. I hope I can learn to be a better button pusher because these are helpful. I think they help my husband as much as they help me.

I recently invested in the Avantree PHA16 hearing aids, and overall, I've had a positive experience. The design is comfortable and discreet, which is a big plus for me. They fit well and don't draw much attention. The 4-microphone setup provides immersive conversations, and the 16-channel noise-canceling amplifier effectively reduces background noise, allowing me to focus on conversations better. The battery life is impressive, lasting me the whole day on a single charge. However, I must admit that the price is on the higher side. While the quality is undeniably top-notch, I can't help but wonder if they are worth the premium price tag. Although they have greatly improved my hearing experience, I couldn't help but wonder if there are more budget-friendly alternatives with similar performance. In conclusion, the Avantree PHA16 hearing aids are indeed high-quality and deliver excellent results. If budget is not a concern, I highly recommend them for seniors and individuals with hearing loss. However, if you're on a tight budget, it might be worth exploring other options with similar features.

As I’ve gotten older, my hearing has started to suffer. I found myself saying “what” and “huh” more and more, and not only was it annoying for me, it was really annoying my kids and wife. So I decided to try a cheap alternative to use around the house. This hearing aid amplifier, offers a very simple to use alternative to high-priced hearing aids. The simple over that you design it’s tidy up behind your ear and offers a wire that just goes inside like an earbud. Battery life seems to go on forever, in fact, I’ve never run the batteries out. All function, plugging in at night when you sleep, use it all day the next day. They do have a look of an old-school hearing aid, but they amplify Well and the controls are a breeze to use. You may fumble around a bit at first, but within a year or two it becomes intuitive and muscle memory takes over. The price is great, and if taken care of it should last for years to come.

These are not "programable" like the very expensive models, but they do offer 4 different environment modes and 11 different volume settings. I suspect these will suffice for a large number of people who can't afford the fancy ones!

When reaching the Senior Citizen age one finds the your hearing, needs some help. This AVANTREE PHA16 is a new design for hearing loss. In the past year, so many new hearing aides have come on the market. I have been trying to find a suitable one for my left ear, the only one that works. It is hard checking over the many on the market but I tried this new aide for both ears. It is hard to find something for just my left ear. Once you read through all the instructions, you are ready to try the left ear piece. I did receive sound on left ear. That encouraged me to read more directions. One will have to keep those instructions handy, as being Senior Citizen age, our mind is not what it used to be. Keep checking as soon, you may find a hearing aide, just for your one ear that needs help.

Over-the-counter hearing amplifiers can be hit or miss, but this one falls on the well-made side. The amplification effectively cancels out a lot of background noises and accurately recognizes both my voice and others, resulting in improved hearing. The most impressive aspect of this hearing aid is its battery life, which has exceeded my expectations. It runs for much longer than I anticipated; for instance, I accidentally left it on the counter while sleeping for five days, and it was still functioning without needing a recharge. To achieve a perfect fit for my eardrum, I made minor adjustments with the rubber pieces, but it hasn't caused any discomfort. Additionally, each aid is equipped with volume control buttons, which prove to be very useful.

The hearing aids didn’t work at all. Unfortunately we had already discarded the packaging so we couldn’t return them. Buyer beware!

These represent an affordable alternative to some of the more technically advanced hearing aids on the market. I have a hard time wearing them but I think that's more about me than the hearing aids. I tend to produce a lot of ear wax and if even a tiny fragment ends up on the part of the hearing aid that fits into your ear, it drives me crazy, making my ears incredibly itchy. I'll remove the earpiece, clean it off, then within minutes of reinserting it, it happens again. I suppose it could actually be the material of the ear tip. I also don't find the background noise reduction to be very effective for me but that's always been the biggest challenge to my hearing. For anybody who questions whether they should look at less expensive options, I'd encourage you to avoid wasting your time. These are probably one of the best options for the price that you can get without jumping into the really high-tech, expensive hearing aids that require an office visit.
