Here in East Tennessee it has been hot and dry. I am not used to this weather. Last year was a disaster for my tomatoes and peppers due to the heat. This year I finally broke down and bought the shade cloth. My tomatoes are looking terrific. I still don't know what is wrong with the peppers but I have been slightly better. Now the soil in my raised beds stays moist longer. The tomato plants don't wilt and shrivel up. The shade cloth is strong. I like the grommets. They seem well attached to the cloth. I am confident the cloth will last me at least one more season and maybe several more after that.

They work great....would be 5 stars but a few of the grommets came squished and one ripped out entirely and we had to fix it.....also they aren't exactly the same dimensions. Now to see how long they hold up.

I got this to help with my RV heating up. I live in a 5th wheel year-round and during the heat, it heats up really badly to the point my AC is working pretty hard. I saw in an RV group that people use these shade cloths to provide some extra UV protection, so I got a 20x40 and set it up to fully shade the top areas and a little coverage around the slides. I have noticed it stays close to 10 degrees cooler inside, just from the cloth. Very significant and I have ordered even more to cover a few other areas and help with some UV protection for my dogs, shed, and an extra for camping!
