Great product , easy to use !! I pounded T-posts in to tue ground and made framework using inch and a half pvc. Secured the four corners to the pvc with bank line. The difference in temperature underneath the shade cloth was immediate. One 10’x20’ shade easily covered three 4x4 beds made from cinder blocks. Update: We're about two weeks in to this adventure, and my tomatoes are ripening faster than I can pick them. And the shade has taken the stress of the hot Texas sun off of my cucumber plants, so no more bitter cukes, and the plants are thriving. This was a worthwhile purchase !!

This did a great job last year! The knock I have against it is it definitely won't make it to next year. It is still 90-95% good, but is starting to tear. I will probably buy this again next year because it does block the sun extremely well!!!

Living in a hot climate is terrible for tomato and other plants. In my region, the temperature quickly and regularly exceeds 85 degrees by early day. My tomato plants produced a lot of green tomatoes that would not turn red because of the heat and direct sunlight. I put this shade over the top of my garden and saw instant results in my tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, and other plants. The soil was holding a greater percentage of moisture reducing the need for daily watering. Using 40% shade cloth allowed me to leave the product on all day. Traditionally, anything over 40% will require removal in the afternoon. I tied the cloth to six, eight-foot stakes approximately five feet above my tallest plant. The product works best under tension. Six posts provided the right amount of support to avoid a dip in the middle. I used basic 5-50 cord to secure the cloth to the post. The product held up very well in the wind. We had a few substantial wind storms with no problem. Not even the slightest rip.

I have used this for 3 years straight now. It is durable and keeps the sun shaded in my green house some but doesn't stop anything from growing. I have a 10x10 greenhouse and this just about covers it! That is fine since I don't need it covered all the way. I may order again in the future as it is of great quality!
