I give 4 stars just because I feel for the expense it felt just a tad flimsy, and we have tightened and fastened it onto the shed as well as humanly possible, however when the wind blows it shakes quite a bit more than I would have expected. I ordered this awning to keep rain off the door of my shop building. It does a great job of that, and I was very pleased at how it really dresses up the appearance of the building front. The caveat is that assembling and installing this awning is NOT a one-man job. The pieces go together fairly easily, but holding everything together as you hang the awning definitely requires four hands, not two. Be sure to peel off the thin plastic protective film on BOTH surfaces of each plastic sheet. I'm quite satisfied and think this is a great deal for your money. I put this awning over my front door. It is sturdy and it was easy to assemble. It is made of plastic so when I get a lot of snow, I make sure to go out and periodically keep that cleaned off so the weight doesn’t damage it.
