It’s soft, has a nice pile…not too low and not too high. People have mentioned a chemical smell ( a note from the manufacturer inside the package says there may indeed be an odor) but that wasn’t the case with my rug. Creases we’re at a minimum and began to relax after just a few hours. It takes several days to do its thing and I put some heavy books in the corners to help it along. I was worried to order this rug because on the website a lot of people said that the colors varied a bit and I was afraid that it would not go with my green in my room however, it can lend itself to sage, green or dark green, depending on where you have it! I love the colors and size is perfect for my entry way landing. I had to roll it the opposite way for a day or two for it to lay flat in the corners and now have had it for a few weeks and there are still small ripples where it was rolled. Hopefully with time they go away as I have it placed where two different doors open over it. I would suggest a rubber mat under if placed in heavily walked areas as it may slide. ... show more

To be honest I was not sure what kind of quality or anything I was going to be getting with this rug I mean it was so affordable and so beautiful in the photos I did not think that it would actually live up to the expectation I was hoping for but it far exceeded super soft like not like a thin Walmart or Target rug way nicer than expected and the colors were gorgeous so far it's been a few months and it's easy to clean lightweight enough for moving around and cleaning it but also solid and durable for the price I could not believe I got this kind of quality ... show more
