So the other day, my feet got pinned & crushed by a X ray machine, while i was getting a xray done of my knee.. Yes i know, how tf does that happen. That 1000+LB robotic machine broke my feet, . 3 Fractures in my right foot, Left foot showed no broken bones right after it happened but I have a feeling something got worse cause it hurts so bad on left too..I have the boot on my right, so to ease the pain on the left , I got this & it helps alot! it gets the top of my foot *were I got injured * the base & the ankle which is where all my pain is. I def recommend and might get another one for my other foot. It last def longer then 30min, I'm only supposed to ice for 20 min so after 30 I'm done anways. Def recommend & would buy again. Way better then the ones that constantly fall off 🙃

This ice pack fits nicely around my foot and ankle as I recover from foot surgery. The ice packs are small and fit perfectly in the wrapping and last about 20 or 30 minutes, which actually is just about perfect. They refreeze quickly also so you can get back to icing every hour if you want to. For size purposes, I am an adult and wear a size 9 wide women’s shoe.

Does not stay cold for long time

I had major foot surgery and this was a lifesaver before and after surgery. The cold packs seem a little thin but you shouldn't have it on for more than 20 minutes at a time. If I needed extra cold I have a large heavy cold pack I could use with this one. I would put this one on first then wrap the other one around my arch and the bottom of my foot then use a pillow case twirled around my foot and tied to secure everything in place. This was perfect for the surgery I had. I had a torn tendon and had an incision in the back of my lower calf, calcaneal osteotomy, my big toe broken and a bone replaced with another, and couple of screws, a plate to hold my midfoot together and my arch cut open as well. This was the first ice pack that hit all the right spots. Just don't forget and walk with it on the packs will burst under the weight. I had a similar one first but it only had 2 cold packs and they were the kind with beads. Both cold packs leaked within a few days. I prefer the gel packs the beads always seem to leak on me. Also I liked that you could keep it pretty tight for pressure I think coupled with the cold helps with pain.

Very mediocre. 1/8 inch Inserts are so thin they stay cold very briefly. If you have a narrow foot, does not wrap tightly enough around ankle to touch it. I had to take the 3 little inserts out and hold them with my hand against my broken ankle bones, so not convenient, but better than nothing. Hello, 7 weeks of this is a joke, good thing I have a bigger thing to use too. You will need more than this to ice a broken ankle to reduce serious swelling. Design is crazy, inserts all shaped slightly differently and it is like a puzzle figuring out which slot they go into, some go up, some go down, meanwhile coldness of pads is dissipating while you figure it out. Then, when you get them all in the correct pockets properly and hope the velcro will stay closed, which it usually doesn't-- there is a big empty hole in the middle of your broken foot that has no cold pad touching it. Was someone smoking pot when they came up with this invention?

If you don’t have one of these (and you need one), I can very highly recommend that you get one! I broke my ankle in 3 places and had to have surgery to Humpty Dumpty me back together again. This wrap ices my incision spot as well as both the top and bottom of my foot (which sustained a lot of internal bruising). The iciness only lasts about 20-30 minutes so I don’t have any concerns about over-icing and I don’t have to set a timer! Other great things to know about these ice packs are that they are soft and pliable so they really mold to the shape of my leg and foot without causing pain. Using other ice packs and Ace bandages was very painful and cumbersome. Oh yeah, these are very lightweight so I don’t feel like I have my foot wrapped in a block of ice. I also purchased an extra set of the ice pack inserts so I don’t have to wait for my next ice session, although I could since these packs only take a couple of hours to freeze. All in all, I love this ice pack bandage set and I really wish I had found this before I came out of my post-surgery splint. Use my experience and get yourself one! I seriously doubt you will be disappointed.
