I have severe osteoarthritis in both of my shoulders and neck. My doctor suggested that a heating pad would help to alleviate my pain symptoms. After wearing this for 10 minutes or so, I can feel a noticeable lasting reduction of pain. I usually do this in the evening and the pain relief even allows me to sleep better! I've tried other heating pads in the past, but the difference with this is how comfortable it is and how well it's made - definitely not junk! It is designed specifically for the shoulders and neck, and it's very effective for that target area. Additionally, it's important to point out that I didn't notice any cool spots - it heats evenly and efficiently. For those who just simply want to use this for relaxation, I imagine this would be great for that as well. I ordered this as I have a really hard time with sore neck and shoulders. I absolutely love it. Pros: It works great, has 6 different levels of heat, has different timer lengths, auto shutoff works well, comfortable material -super soft. Cons: Pricey

I have constant aching shoulders, so bought this in hope it would ease the pain. It heats up well, and the settings are easy to use. It has a small button to keep it on and it helps. Has a good weight to keep it stable. Used it twice so far and I find it very helpful and relaxing.
