I am so glad I bought this product. I have various back problems including sciatica and this belt helps immensely. I love that you can wear it and walk around. It's not like having to sit with a heating pad. The band adjusts so well that it should fit any size. It gets nice and hot and stays warm longer that I expected. I wear the ice packs DAILY and they provide great relief. Love the ease of use and the comfort the ice packs provide. I keep multiple packs in the freezer so I can swap them out. My only complaint is the Velcro on the belt itself. It works great when I first get the belt but wears out and will no longer stay secure so the belt/ice pack ends up on the floor when I walk around. Due to the wearing out of the Velcro, I’m on my 3rd purchase. Some users have complained about gel leakage. I haven’t had that issue. I’m still on my 1st set of ice packs and have used them daily for about 2 years with no problem. Have only purchased again because of the Velcro on the belt. Wish that part was more durable because I love the product in spite of the Velcro. ... show more

After sitting in the freezer for a few days, this was not at all pliable and difficult to put on. It needs to soften or it can be uncomfortable. I fractured my hip and the other ice packs and frozen peas just were not convenient like this. I wrap a kitchen towel over both sides to absorb the drips it creates. The kitchen towels are the perfect size. Make sure the fold faces down or this will drip on your upholstered seating. Ice pack stays cold a very long time and was still frozen after over 30 minutes. I love that I have mobility while using this. I plan to use it on my back next. It is, however, the perfect ice pack for a sore hip. There is ample length on the strap for comfortable adjustment. I also like the fact I don't have to constantly fill a bag with crushed ice over and over again. This ice pack can be frozen again for about an hour and is ready to use right away after initial use. It only needs to sit out after a day or so in the freezer to soften. This is so convenient that I believe I will find many other uses. ... show more

What a great item! We both have all kinds of aches and pains but a case of sciatica had me looking for relief. I tried the bag of peas but it just didn't cut it. The inserts are gel so when you freeze them, they aren't stiff. They fit nicely in the pouch and last longer than the 20 minutes the doc told to use ice for. The best part is you can get up and move around with this on... you aren't stuck in a chair. You can also keep one in the freezer and when you use one, you have a back up ready to go. I also tried it in the microwave and the heat was great too. I was able to move out of the recliner and go into my sewing chair with ease and I really didn't even notice I was wearing it other than the relief I got. This wrap around ice pack has been so easy to use and comfortable in helping relieve my lower back pain. It's my new best friend, lol. The packs freeze quickly, and having two to rotate makes it so convenient. It lays flat under my clothes well and I can continue being up and around if I need to be moving around while wearing it. And it stays in place. The only slight negative (that is easily rectified) is that if you don't line up the inside velcro closure after inserting the ice pack, the velcro strip can be felt poking your back and is uncomfortable on your skin.     • I have to say it's a wonderful product but there are some caveats

So first off I can now say having owned this product for a year the following problems... First the wear and tear from the velcro against the material after a period of time of often used during a year I'd say 7 8 months in it was starting to get a little fuzzy if you know what I mean when it comes to velcro tugging at fabric the result is of course it doesn't stick. The other issue is you got to be careful on microwaves strength I had a friend of mine who had one of these and used somebody else's microwave and it popped versus their own microwave where the prescribed power limit and time I guess were well known. So maybe the moral of the story is read the instructions very well of both the pouch that gets microwaved and for the microwave you'll be using ever since my friend told me I watch out when I travel and go to hotels or whatever airbnbs and use their microwaves I go lower since I don't know the exact strength at the levels I'm used to from mine at home. Sorry to put such an emphasis on these two things but it's a super product and the company does stand behind it as they did with my concerns with the strap wearing ... show more

This is a great item! 100% YOU NEED TO BUY THIS!!! This gel pack is a great size, comes with 2 gel packs plus the holster band, and really is well made. I have had other gel packs in the past where they leaked due to cracking while cold because they were so firm. When you leave these in the freezer for a long time, it gets pretty solid, but still is movable. Once out of the freezer for a few minutes it softens up so I don't think that would happen with these. The cold lasts a long time plus you have that 2nd one to swap out! While I have only had them for a few weeks now, I have used them many times and really think they will last a long time. ... show more
