This is a very sticky mat. However, that was exactly what I was looking for. I keep it in my rv and put my cb on top of it on the dash so it won't slide around. It sticks like glue and goes nowhere. Hang on to the flat packing it comes in, as well as the plastic that originally went on top of it. That's how you'll store it for a long time of use. I had a previous sticky pad that lasted years until I got lazy and left it on the dash. Over a hot summer it melted onto the dash which I can definitely see happening with this. If it's hot out and you're parked for a while, take it off and properly put it away. It can be rinsed off under a faucet if it gets dirty and will work like new again.

Works great. Phone never slips off it. I couldn't fit any iphone mount in my car. The vents just did not allow for it. With this, I can just toss the phone on the dash and it stays.

This product came exactly as described. I’ve been using it for quite some time now and in the Florida hot sun it has not melted to my dashboard at all even in over 100° weather for months. I keep a box of Kleenex on top of it so my Kleenex won’t slide around. Is a perfect size. It’s not in the way and it does exactly what it’s supposed to do I would buy this again if I had to, but luckily it’s gonna last such a long time that I won’t need to! This is my 3rd time ordering, & I'll order again if I need to. Sticky, but does not leave any residue on your dash. Easily rinsed off to renew it's stickiness. One word of caution, DON'T let it touch itself when it's hot out. It practically glues to itself, that why I only gave it 4 stars. It'll hold anything you put on it without worrying about it sliding around.

Pros: inexpensive price, easy to install, items stick to it easily, looks decent. Cons: attracts a lot of dust, hard to remove, and mine started melting in the sun and became a black, gooey, sticky mess that I couldn’t put anything on anymore. Mine lasted about two and a half years before I couldn’t use it anymore due to the melting in the summer heat issue.

Really happy with this pad. It sticks to my dashboard very well, and I can toss pretty much anything on it and it doesn't move when I'm driving. Right now both my regular glasses and sun glasses sit on it and I finally am not losing them all the time.

A bit smaller than I expected. No problem except the terrible smell they have. I got these for 2 of my vehicles that are older, and don't accommodate mounting a cell phone. I'm hoping they will hold my phone in place. They are sticky enough to immediately fold over upon taking it out of the plastic and stick to itself! Luckily I could peel apart the sections. But it was a bit like a hidden camera show, as it happened 3 more times before I was able to place it onto the dashboard flattened. We will see how it works.
