The VP70 works great. I have two of them installed so far and haven't had any issues. They are playing a looping autostart video that is about 2 minutes long. This unit is perfect for signage displays. Remote control range isn't that great, but other than that, the VP70 can handle just about any media format you throw at it. Auto play feature is great!

    • Does not like long video files.
Does not play most of my mp4 files off a 1 Terabyte SD card. I finally gave up and tried a usb hard drive but it would not see the files on it so I tried a flash drive. That worked however on the mp4 that are long it dumped out of them and went to the next video file about 20 to 30 minutes into them. So not a very reliable device. ... show more

So my review is based on cost versus quality. I got this for digital signage. I have lowered my standards with electronics in general as it seems every over hypes them selvs. At this is no different. What it can do is play files forever non stop. Video. Photos. Music. And there are a lot of settings. My issue is. Its fickle with files. I have two of these. And they will not play .mov. And it’s frustrating having to convert them. Then there is the auto start. It can work a lot of times but its fickle. What bothers me is i wanted to be able to dump in a ton of music and play it at random. There is a setting for it. But it doesn’t work. Same with random video photos etc. so the music plays in alphabetical order. So if you have a large selection and have two of the same some could be from different artist it plays them by each other. Not the worst issue in the world but i supose what got me is after looking around i found something similar for About 100 bucks for haunted houses. You can even have a motion even trigger it. So it works as good and does random. For 100 bucksish. I wont say the name its not fair and i dont work for the company. But im not seeing a difference. Both have almost the same menu. Both have a remote usb and the small card. Auto start. I tries super hard to be a fan. Customer suport was kind. The random issue and the fickle file issue is frustrating. ... show more

Super easy to set up. Simply plug in your power and insert a usb stick with your media. We have 4 of these in our office and they have run looping 24/7 non stop and reliably for years. Very small and compact. We have tried the lower cost players on Amazon (around$30) and they do work but we noticed dropped frames during video playback. ... show more
