  • Immersive 3D + 15ft range + Low Price = Awesome Immersive 3D + 15ft range + Low Price = Awesome
I must have been living under a rock as I had never heard of Viture until last month. I had seen $1,200 VR/AR glasses for sale by other companies and of course most everyone has heard of VR headsets such as Meta or Apple. I miss 3D TV. No one makes them anymore. Lack of 3D content is a big reason why. When I heard that that a company called Viture was releasing an app that could turn ANY Video output into 3D content, I was intrigued. After doing a little research, I found that excellent quality manufactured refurbished 3D glasses could be had for under $200. I contacted Viture customer support and learned that these glasses come with a 1 year manufacturer warranty-- the same warranty as the new $1,200 glasses from another company. To make things even better, these glasses have adjustable diopter for up to -5 for those who are nearsighted. This way I can use the glasses without having to wear contacts which is a big plus for me. Even better is the glasses are quickly adjustable so I can switch from wearing contacts to not wearing contacts settings in under a minute. My mild astigmatism is not a problem either as text appears sharp to me which is not always the case with books. I ordered the glasses and when they arrived I was hoping to test them out using my computer's USB 4 port. For whatever reason I could not get the glasses to work with my MSI X870-P wifi USB 4 port. I think this is an MSI problem and not the fault of the glasses. I was able to test the glasses using a friend's Samsung phone. The picture quality was impressive in both 2D and using 3D specific media. A lot of people will probably use these glasses with their USB C Display Alt enabled phones, tablets, and game consoles. They are very impressive in this role if your device supports DIsplay Alt over USB C. I contacted Viture customer support again and received a recommendation for the WJESOG cable listed below to allow me to hook up the glasses to my NVIDIA RTX 3090 enabled PC. I exchanged no less than 20 emails with VIture customer support and they always promptly responded. This cable enabled me to try Viture's new Immersive 3D AI technology. This is what really sets these glasses apart from their competitors. I am running the software on Windows 10. It will turn anything from a movie to a video game into 3D output. The 3D experience is fantastic and is much better than any 3D TV I have ever seen. The program is efficient and only uses about 20% of my GPU resources. This is good as it does not generate much heat. I believe it will even work on my RTX 3050. My next problem was that I only had about 7 feet of cable slack even with the WJESOG adapter. This was not enough to lie down and watch a movie. I tried several cables and finally found that the Cable Matters 10ft active DP cable did the job. I also had to combine this with a USB C return cable as the VIture glasses lack a battery and need a power source. I have listed the USB cables I use below. You need several adapter cables to make the whole thing work. The result? I have over 15 feet of cable slack and can still watch AI powered 2d movies rendered in near perfect 3D! (the actual cable length is a few feet longer but you have to subtract the computer port and cable drop to the mix) The cables added nearly $80 to the price tag, but the results were well worth it. To make all of this work, you actually want the less expensive Viture One Lite glasses as they use the standard USB C connector and not the proprietary magnetic one. My last problem is that the right ear piece of the glasses becomes quite warm - maybe even hot - with extended use. At least in my 78 degree room. I solved this problem by purchasing some copper heat sinks and attaching them to the frame. They do not add much weight, but they do a good job dissipating the excess heat. The audio is perfect for my needs. I can hear the music but does not bother others. Adding quality 3rd party headphones gives a cinematic feel. So I have an amazing pair of OLED AR glasses that I can use to have a giant screen for my phone. Or better yet, to watch 2D MOVIES IN 3D while relaxing on the couch or bed. Without having to wear contacts. With a warranty. For around $250 total spent. I wish I had heard of Viture sooner. • Nearly perfect and extremely impressive. Nearly perfect and extremely impressive.
Size: Regular
Pros: These pull power from the device so battery life isn’t an issue. Fairly lightweight, they feel great for lying down or relaxing. They connected immediately to my iPhone, iPad, and MacBook, making them compatible with devices I had on hand right out of the box. You will need to complete a firmware update to bump the resolution from 1080p to 1200p, so make sure to do that. It’s available through the browser using Google Chrome. The screens are beautiful. My eyes had no issue with their 3D conversion either. The adjustable frame and included nose pieces made it easy to find the fit for my face. Cons: if you have the screen in Extra Large or Ultra Large, I recommend using the 3DoF option, which turning your head will move the text into the clearest section of the screen, removing the blur. Trying to read text in the outer 1/5th of the screen is blurry and strained my eyes. Playing on the Large format alleviated this for me. There is a band of static in the right side screen that appeared on every device used. Likely to be fixed with a firmware update. The 3D conversion through the SpaceWalker app is neat; however there is a definite software issue where a line appears across the top third of the screen that ruins the quality of the effect. The SpaceWalker app can also become confused, which made it so my video no longer had access to skip forward or back. The included cable is just long enough to use, but needed to be about a foot longer. It’s bend design will be hard to replace, meaning finding a suitable cable for laying down is going to take time. Overall: This is my first pair of XR glasses, I have extremely sharp vision so blurry VR causes stress on my eyes. These are clear and perfect for me. I used them for 4 hours at once and walked away feeling fine. I highly recommend these for anyone interested. These are the pair you have been waiting for. ... show more

  • Cut Off and Blurry Screen Edges - Cool but not quite there
Size: Regular
I was super excited about getting these but tbh, they just aren’t quite there yet. Maybe in another year or two. They are pretty big and clunky. Not as sleek as they appear to be in the images and videos. Feel really big behind your ears. Screen on Ultra Large and wide screen, cuts off at the edges and the blurriness on the edges is super noticeable. Hard to use for gaming bc you can’t see the ammo, health, buttons etc. on the corner HUD of the game. I ran Cyberpunk 2077 on them which Viture has a branded version of these. It was playable but not nearly the experience I had hoped for and the eye strain caused me not to make it more than 20 minutes or so at a time. Also, the 8BitDo controller is not compatible with iOS. Ugh. I’m hoping for them to make some more improvements and I’ll probably buy the next generation of these. ... show more

  • Easy to use and overall a great XR experience for the price. Highly recommend for most.
Size: Regular
Fantastic device and value for the money but not quite perfect. Works great on all my devices including an Android phone & tablet, a iPad pro and my MacBook pro. Very good picture quality and sound and it's a very comfortable viewing experience even after long use with no headache, dizziness or nausea. Cons: need to use with a battery pack via an XR usb c adapter or their power pack. Another con is it has a slight bottom side reflection that can be distracting and or annoying but there's a quick and easy way around that. Just raise back end of the glasses frame at a slightly higher angle than the front end and it goes away. Still very useable and comfortable.Good viewing mode options. Easy to use and overall a great XR experience for the price. Great value to cost ratio. Highly recommend for most. ... show more

  • Handheld gaming 40+? These are for you
Size: Regular
These XR glasses live up their name, Viture did an amazing job. No regrets at all. For gaming, it's a lifesaver. They don't melt your face off after hours of use, and they don't weigh so much that they hurt. The picture is amazing, still fuzzy on the edges... but it's very minor. Sound is fantastic. For an older guy like me, playing on the ROG Ally X, the screen size can be tough for some games. This device is the answer. I can see clearly on an adjustable screen, anywhere I go. It's plug and play with the Ally, so compatibility is no problem. If you are playing Switch 2, there is an adapter. Most other handheld are also plug and play. Phone use is tricky, my Android struggles with it. But I think it's more an issue with my phone and compatibility than the glasses. Still figuring that part out. But I didn't get these for the phone. As for the feel of the Beast, it feels like a premium device, like a piece of tech and not flimsy or cheap. Well worth it, if you can afford it. But be warned, you will get addicted to wanting to play your games this way instead of the TV. ... show more

  • Nothing close to as advertised.
Size: Regular
Over-hyped, over priced, over rated. Seriously disappointed with these... half the feature didn't work, they overheat quickly, do some serious eye strain on you, screen is low quality, the area of view is small so the size of the screen is irrelevant. Five minutes with my cellphone drained 20% off my battery, so these will destroy your phone with how often you are charging / discharging the battery. Connecting to my laptop was HORRID, Windows did not like the screen placement or trying to get multi-screens. This was just not even close to being worth the price. Complete waste of time, money, and all of the high expectations I had for this. I also had issues with tearing on the right edge of the screen, and the "ultra-wide" (The feature they rave about!) is bugged out. When doing the ultra wide, it would smash the screen into the upper left into a long line, unreadable and un-usable. The buttons were fairly simple, so good interactions there. But the single-press / double-press, if you didn't get it right, then revert it, then try again, would sometimes cause my left eye display to shut off. Another bug maybe? On top of the above... It took them nearly two weeks just to "process" my order, then shipping was fast. But, why did it take so long to just get it out to me?? Just horrid customer service on that part, no care at all for time. And returning them, wow, what a horrid disclaimer I got for sending them back. Once they receive the item (so at least a week from me shipping them back), it will then be 30 days before a refund can be issued. WTH?? From the product, to support, to customer service... I will never look at this brand ever again. There are better alternatives out there, and this is one to avoid. ... show more

  • Lightweight and left no marks
Size: Regular
I bought these XR glasses for my fiancé because he works construction and has a lot of standby time during the day and they ended up being the greatest purchase. He used them during breaks and downtime to watch videos, watch his shows, and even catch up on his wrestling without having to carry around a bulky screen. He said the picture quality was insanely sharp and bright, even outdoors and the huge virtual screen honestly looked like a private movie theater. The sound quality was very clear audio with enough bass that he didn’t even feel the need for headphones. At home, he used them constantly with his PS5 and absolutely loved the gaming experience. The screen felt massive, gameplay was smooth, and the visuals were super crisp with no noticeable lag. They were super easy to use right out of the box without needing complicated setup or software. The glasses were lightweight enough that he wore them for long gaming sessions without discomfort or any rubbing or leaving and glasses marks. ... show more
