Heavy (42 lbs.) and heavy duty. Made to fit in a truck bed but works well as an accessory toolbox in my garage. The box itself is powder-coated diamond plate heavy duty aluminum with 5 drawers of various depths. The tool box contains 3 spacious drawers measuring 5 7/16 inches wide, 18 1/4 inches long, and 3 11/16 inches high, along with 2 compact drawers with a height of 1 3/4 inches. The drawers operate smoothly on what they call high-quality ball bearing sliders. The box comes complete with a set of instructions and hardware to facilitate truck bed installation (which doesn’t look very difficult at all). The dropdown door on this box was a little loose but the lock worked as it should. As loose as the door was, it made me question its waterproof (or watertight) capability. There weren’t any comparable units that I could find to compare prices…however $249 for a quality box like this one seems about right.

This toolbox for the truck works great. It's a heavy-duty unit, weighing in at almost 50 pounds. All the exterior surfaces are diamond plate that's either bent or welded in place, with rivets along the bottom edge. The box looks like it's tough enough to be sat on, but standing on it will make the top bend slightly. Also, it has an interesting method to mount the box to the truck: there's a baseplate within the box that can be separated from the main box. This make mounting the toolbox a lot easier because the baseplate becomes a template, so you know exactly where to drill. And, I appreciate that mounting hardware is included in the kit. The locking knob is pretty basic, and doesn't offer any purchase to pull the door open, so I'll probably be replacing this small knob in favor of something with a T-handle. Inside the box, everything is powder coated. The drawers are all full extension, so you can get to everything in the back, too. The drawers have detents, so they tend to stay closed, even without the exterior latch. But, on the unit I received, one of the drawers doesn't pull out properly, like it's not fully on the track. Aside from that, the other drawers move in and out easily, though not as smoothly as full bearings.

Very cool, way heavier, larger, and better made than I could’ve asked for. This is a really nice design in which some drawers come out and it’s actually pretty convenient for being a bit more organized, which I can absolutely use. This isn’t a bad value at all, it’s functional, looks good, can be attached to a truck, or you could probably use it for a toolbox in a shop.

The inside of the toolbox was damaged and every time I slide the draws out they get stuck and rub on the bent metal. The outside metal is in perfect shape though. If you have a soft tonneau cover this tool box will fit underneath it as I own one and had no issues. If the inside wasn't bent then I would have given 5 ⭐ but as is it's a 3.

This is a nicely made, really heavy aluminum toolbox with strong drawers and locking cover. The box weighs 50# and is secured to the truck bed (or whatever else you want) with a removable base that is locked to the box from the inside. You have to remove the bottom drawer to get to the release that holds the box in the base. While there are instructions on how to remove the base and secure it using the enclosed bolts, there is nothing about how to remove the drawers which threw me for a minute because the release tabs in the slides are black - the same color as the slides. There are two levers in the slides, on one each side, and you push one up and the other down to slide the drawer out. Once you bolt the base down you set the heavy rack in it and slide it to lock it in place, then replace the bottom drawer. While the box is well bade, there are a few sloppy welds indicating it may be hand welded - and I guess you have to learn somewhere. The drawers do not hold a lot of stuff, and there is no cover on them to keep thing put when you hit those potholes, but if the sizes meet your needs and you can deal with the price, I think this is a well made box that should give years of service.

Oh boy, oh boy! talk about a well manufactured heavy duty toolbox. This is an excellent toolbox to have in the truck specially if used for work where tools are needed. The easy glide of the drawers is excellent, the safety and security top of the line. Though powder coated steel, no doubt! The price of this box is not cheap, but honestly worth every penny, excellent manufacturing.
