  • I End Up Using This More Than My Quest 3
Size: Regular
I already own a Meta Quest 3, so I wasn’t sure if I really needed another wearable display. After using the Viture Luma for almost a month, I can honestly say I use it much more than my Quest 3. Quest 3 is still the better choice for VR games, but for watching movies or using it as a portable monitor, the Luma is just more comfortable. It’s much lighter, the picture is crystal clear, and I love that I can adjust the focus for each eye separately. Since I wear glasses, this is a huge plus because I don’t need prescription inserts like I do with my Quest 3. One thing I didn’t expect was how much it helped with comfort. I have chronic neck pain, and I used to spend an hour or two in bed holding my phone to watch YouTube or movies, which always left my neck and shoulders feeling sore. Since I started using the Luma, I can simply lean back, change my position, or even look upward while the screen stays right in front of me. Over the past month, I’ve noticed my neck feels much better after those long viewing sessions. I also use it as a portable monitor for emails and light office work. It’s obviously not replacing my desktop monitor, but it’s surprisingly good when I just need a second screen. One accessory I’d definitely recommend is the USB-C charging adapter. It lets you keep your phone, tablet, or laptop charging while using the glasses, so you don’t have to worry about running out of battery during a long movie or work session. For me, it’s basically a must-have. If you’re mainly buying something for VR gaming, I’d still recommend the Quest 3. But if your priority is watching movies, YouTube, or having a comfortable portable display for everyday use, I actually prefer the Luma. It’s one of those gadgets that I didn’t expect to use this often, but now I reach for it almost every day. ... show more

  • Great wearable display for media consumption
Size: Regular
Works brilliantly as a personal display device. Picture is sharp, colourful and bright. I see the entire display with not much adjustments required, but it looks only slightly larger than my 100" projection TV from a distance of 4m - not quite 150". The supplied hard zippered pouch is bulky but serves its purpose to store & protect the glasses & cable perfectly well. The built-in sound is ok but it's too soft for use in noisy environments like a plane, but fortunately I can use my own bluetooth headphones & buds paired to my phone to overcome this limitation. The build quality is not that great though - it feels a bit plasticky & cheap but its lightweight & comfortable when worn on the face. The Spacewalker app needs work - 3dof doesn't work very well and causes jitter. Despite the few negatives I'm very happy overall with my purchase as it serves its purpose as a personal large display for movie watching on my Android (Oppo foldable) phone very well. ... show more

  • Not a standalone smart device, but an outstanding display terminal when fully kitted out.
Size: Regular
Do not mistake this for a complete, standalone smart device out of the box—on its own, it’s limited to basic phone mirroring, which feels quite restrictive. However, its true potential is unlocked once you pair it with the necessary ecosystem accessories to connect your PC, Switch, or a dedicated media system. When treated purely as a "portable big-screen display," it absolutely shines. The 120Hz refresh rate, crisp picture quality, myopia adjustments, and Harman audio leave nothing to be preferred. It's one of those hard-core tech products where the accessories are the real backbone. Make sure you know your use case before buying! ... show more

  • Not good for astigmatism
Size: Regular
I'll just start off this review by saying if you have an astigmatism these display glasses are not for you. The starburst effect from lights is horrible. I have a minor astigmatism, but not enough to need corrective lenses. At night there is a small starburst effect with lights but nothing too obtrusive. With these glasses it makes a lot of things feel like there is a double image or something. The image itself can be sharp, but it softens and becomes a little out of focus in the corners. They claim these glasses are good for productivity, but I would not want to use these very long if having to read a bunch of text or needed to use the entire screen. The clock in windows for example is hard to read unless I really focus on it, but the center of the screen is as sharp as can be. The speakers on the device actually sound ok, as long as you don't want a single hint of bass. But it's clear at least, and has a nice wide positional sound stage. Fine for general listening, but for any kind of entertainment you are going to be disappointed. I also had trouble positioning the device in a position that was comfortable. I tried all the different sized nose pads, but no matter what it always seemed like the top or the bottom of the display was slightly clipped by the edge of something. If your sole purpose was to uses these for media consumption / watching movies and such, they seem descent for that. But the claim of a 152" screen... I dunno about that. Maybe at like 15 feet. I use a 32 inch monitor on my PC and the screen in the display doesn't look any bigger than it sitting a comfortable distance away (like 2 to 3 feet). But, if using it to watch movies from a phone or a laptop with a smaller screen it will definitely feel bigger. So, I could see these being very nice to have on a plane or something like that. The device also gets a bit warm to the touch on the upper parts where the display actually are. I didn't feel discomfort from it while wearing them, but it could be noticeable for an extended session. And lastly their claims of "4k like" is just complete marketing trash. It is not 4k like, it is 1920 x 1200 like, the resolution it actually displays at. It definitely is no where near the same as using a 4k display. I'm not saying the image is bad, it is a good image overall (other than the corners), but I really don't know what their basis for calling it 4k like is. Overall, I'm disappointed in the device. I was really looking for something that I could use in lieu of a monitor when traveling for work. As a software architect, I deal with a lot of code and things of that nature. These glasses will not serve the purpose of replacing an actual display for that. Even using my laptops 16 inch monitor is more comfortable for that purpose. But for playing games or watching media from a smaller screen device, as long as you wear a descent set of headphones, sure these would be nice for that. ... show more

  • Big screen anywhere with this XR glasses!!
Size: Regular
The glasses are pretty much the same weight and size as my regular sunglasses. It comes with multiple nose pads to fit everyone. Super easy to set up and connects instantly once it's plugged in. I'm using a Samsung Fold phone, and it showed up as Dex mode like a second monitor. Just in time to watch the World Cup and baseball game, the image and video quality is amazing, no complaints so far. ... show more

  • Incredible visuals, backed by great support
Size: Regular
I’ve been using VITURE glasses since the Pro XR model, and the new Luma Pro is a noticeable upgrade in a lot of ways. The good: Displays & FoV: The screen looks fantastic -- every pixel is sharp, and the larger field of view (though small on paper) results in what easily feels like a 30% to 40% increase, it's like going from a big TV to sitting in a cinema. Movies and shows look amazing, with brightness that’s still the best in the market. Comfort: Lightweight, roomy, and easy to wear even lying down. The magnetic connector detaches less often, which makes them easier to use while moving around. Clarity: Text is crisp enough for casual productivity and pinned screens, though this won’t completely replace a high-end monitor in my opinion. Sound: Slightly louder than the previous gen, good for most use cases, and Bluetooth headphones work fine when you need isolation. Support: VITURE’s customer service is responsive, helpful, and worth supporting. It really makes a difference at this price point. The trade-offs: Build quality: Unlike the Pro XR’s metal frame, these are plastic. That makes them feel lighter, but they also don’t feel quite as premium or long-term durable. Unfinished features: The built-in camera isn't currently used by in any meaningful way as far as I can tell at the time of writing. That said, you can use it if plugged into a computer (take the sticker off first), and then open a camera or video app to record first person (it shows ups like a regular camera device). Bottom line: If you want the best portable cinematic viewing experience, the Luma Pro delivers in spades. Sharper, brighter, and more immersive than the Pro XR -- and paired with excellent support, they’re worth giving a try. ... show more

  • VITURE Luma Pro XR Glasses — Honest Review
Size: Regular
I was excited to try the VITURE Luma Pro XR glasses, but my experience hasn’t matched the hype. Honestly, it feels like most of the influencers online were given hand-picked units and talking points, because what I experienced was very different. Ease of Use The instructions were confusing, and I had no clear idea how to turn the device on or off. The website pointed me to the Immersive 3D app, which didn’t offer much of what I actually wanted. I eventually tried SpaceWalker, which had some content, but compared to something like the Oculus, this felt like a waste of $500. At this point, I’m returning them — it doesn’t feel like a finished product until major bugs are fixed. Audio Issues From the start, the audio never worked correctly. On my MacBook Pro (M1 Pro chip, 16 GB RAM), the sound gave off a loud static noise and then repeated/looped endlessly. I tried every fix I could — Audio MIDI Setup, CoreAudio resets, different sample rates — but nothing helped. The stuttering happened in every app: browsers, Spotify, QuickTime. That made the glasses unusable for media, which is supposed to be one of their main strengths. System Performance Even worse, just plugging the glasses in caused my entire Mac to lag. This is a high-spec machine that normally handles video editing and multiple monitors with ease. It was shocking to see performance grind down from what should just be a USB-C display accessory. Heat Another problem: the side where the power cord connects overheated quickly. Even in short sessions, that side of the frame felt hot to the touch, raising questions about comfort and hardware durability. Display When the display actually worked, it did look sharp and bright, and the virtual screen size was immersive. But those moments were overshadowed by the persistent audio glitches, lag, and heat issues. I also noticed that the screen inside the glasses would sometimes shake, even with motion blur enabled. Conclusion Maybe I got a defective unit, but for me the sound never worked, my computer lagged whenever it was plugged in, and the hardware overheated. For a $500+ device marketed as premium XR glasses, I expected much more reliability and polish. Until VITURE addresses these issues — whether through firmware updates or hardware revisions — I cannot recommend the Luma Pro, especially for Mac users or developers who need stable performance. ... show more

  • Amazed by the picture quality
Size: Regular
I really enjoy the glasses and was surprised by the quality of the screen. I originally bought them for gaming and to have multiple screens on my PC, but I believe the Ultras might do a better job for displaying multi screens based off the research I’ve done. These however work really well for watching media from your phone which is my main use and are useful while traveling as a passenger in the car or on a plane. The customer service I received was excellent and fast when I didn’t claim the free controller due to my mistakes. They were able to handle the situation fast and worked with me to make things right which shows they care and value their customers. I would recommend these for those who enjoy watching shows and mobile gaming. ... show more
