I'm pretty much blown away by these. The display quality is shockingly good. Far better than I imagined. These are largely plug and play. My Ipad and my windows laptop just connect and work. The only issue I ran into was my primary PC doesn't support USB out. Certainly not an issue for these glasses but something to be aware of based on what you want to connect them to. Pros Way more comfortable than I expected Displays are amazing -- just amazing Audio is also better than expected but not as good as headphones or earbuds Plug and play simplicity Cons They sit further away from your face than I'd like. This makes them less discrete than I hoped. No one things your wearing sunglasses.

I saw these and impulse purchased on a whim as I was wishing I had something similar years ago. I hyped them up in my head and felt a little lackluster once I received them. Honestly, the product is great and does exactly as they market them. The field of view is a little less than you'd expect and I really think it comes down to the distance between your eyeball and the ridge of your brow. If you have a prominent brow, like I do, then you cannot get the glasses closer to your face, which narrows the FoV. The upper portion of the glasses can get quite toasty so if you're cramming them as close to your eyeballs as you can, you'll notice. They require no software at all. I primarily use them plugged into either my laptop or my iPhone, both work flawlessly. The iPhone simply mirrors the display, so you can't just put it in your pocket and think you'll have an okay time. Gaming on these is actually quite fun. I find making the window larger than the FoV of the glasses and then using anchor mode to be quite enjoyable. It adds a little bit of immersion to turn your head to see the edges of the screen. First person games are quite fun this way! The screen is far brighter than you will ever need and the electrochromatic dimming is fantastic. I also recommend these if you are hunched over quite a lot, for example using a laptop or looking down at a screen. It may seem a little weird at first but you can anchor the screen up at and angle and lay your head back while working. Doing this for just a little bit during the day makes a big difference in neck pain. It's glossed over in their manual and not really well shown on their YouTube videos, but there is quite a range of adjustment in the glasses that is not obvious. It can feel like you're going to snap them in half simply trying to adjust the tilt of the lenses. I'd really recommend XREAL to produce a YouTube video simply talking about how and why to adjust the glasses.

Amazing glasses, very good clarity and lightweight. I don't know how they do it but it is really immersive how you can dim and darken everything else around you as you were in a movie theater. Seems sturdy as well. I only had a day to really play around with them but i like it. One thing i did notice and why i gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that you need the beam pro to use all the features of it like moving and resizing windows and having a controller(tho Samsung Dex can use phone as trackpad if you have a Samsung device). Other than that.. i love them and wish the company actually devloped the apps and software can use on other devices to get said functionality.

This is the first product I have purchased from this technology category. It does exactly what I want. There are some areas for improvement but always true in bleeding edge tech. I used an IPD app to measure my eye distance before buying. I am not sure how many people who reviewed it poorly took this step. The good: it just worked right away. The only setup required was plugging into my pc and updating the firmware from the website. After that it immediately worked with my iPad mini A17 and my iPhone 15 pro max. No issues at all. If you just want to display your phone/tablet right infront of your face this is a good product. The screen looks way better than I imagined. I bought this so I can work on my virtual shadow pc without staring into my tiny iPad screen or phone, and without lugging around a big monitor everywhere. Solves that problem no sweat. I like the feature to follow your head or anchor it in a point. Both have good use cases. I was surprised how it allowed me to still stay in the real world, look at my real computer screen, but have my iPad screen superimposed above it. I didn’t think multitasking would work. It’s not perfect but it made it even more enticing to use. The bad: the lenses for viewing your screen a very small, and have a bit of a warping effect on the real world. Nothing that ruins it, but this is where the technology will improve as time goes on. I wish the lenses were 25-50% larger. If you do the max size screen, you can still only view portions of it at a time if you are too close. This still doesn’t ruin it but leaves room for improvement. The buttons. I don’t enjoy the buttons. They are too loud and rigid. Not easy to push or fun to use. Once you have it set up you don’t need to push them too much but the buttons are the worst part for me. I also bought an Oakley jawbreaker to replace the bridge support with, the little pads that come with it almost tickle my face in a weird way. They still look kinda funny, sticking off your face like most from this category. I don’t really care about that but if you don’t like looking goofy this tech isn’t for you yet. The conclusion: it’s a 100% must for anyone who likes to work on the go but doesn’t want to bring a ton of peripherals and computers with them. If you have a VM connected from your phone you could fold a keyboard and mouse into your pocket and you have everything you need to use these glasses for productivity anywhere. Great for sitting on a couch/laying in bed. Opens up a world of possibilities. I am pleasantly surprised how much I love them.
