*Update: After a dozen plus uses. It is still going strong. I have used this unit on my F150 lightning at tesla superchargers. The most kw draw that I noticed was around 191kws due to the Ford battery charging limitations. Overall it is still working as expected. -Build quality is great. It's heavy. I feel that I could drop this item several times and not worry about breaking it. - The case is a great addition. - Value is perfect compared to the competition. - User friendly, I would not say it is perfect. There is a learners curve attached to apps and knowing which stations have access to use this device. Which is no fault of the device. - Recommend, definitely. The first time I used this adaptor I babied it. I didn't jam it into my vehicle with full force as I should have. Granted the vehicle was new and I doubt it was ever used at a DC fast charging station. In the end I was testing it out if the freezing cold and I eventually left the Tesla station with no juice added to my vehicle... because of user error. The vehicle was still too new and I really had to push the adaptor into my vehicle beyond the force that I expected it needed to make a connection.

The adapter worked that after warranty ended so did it no longer charges our electric vehicle suggest you look for a different manufacturer

I've been using with my Lightning for 17 months without issue. Always use the Tesla app to find compatible chargers and you won't be lead astray (saw some reviews about it "never working at Tesla chargers"). Nice and sturdy feel to the adaptor.

When volvo notified owners that they must use the volvo adapter choice or else the warranty would be voided, I informed this vendor and they refunded the price and did not want it returned. I'll keep it in case a friend needs it. The volvo choice was more than $100 more expensive.
