When volvo notified owners that they must use the volvo adapter choice or else the warranty would be voided, I informed this vendor and they refunded the price and did not want it returned. I'll keep it in case a friend needs it. The volvo choice was more than $100 more expensive.

ended up returning because couldn't find a charger it worked with. The fit was good, the build quality was good, installation was easy but unfortunately it didn't work with any charger that I tried it with.
