  • Solid Product Works Well with No Overheating
Style: TT-30P RV/ Trailer 30A Gen2
This appears to be a solid product. It seats well into the TESLA charger, as well as the 30A, 110V outlet. Unlike other reviews, I found no heating up of the plug. That may be because I have a solid outlet to plug into with properly sized wires and good connections of those wires. At the 24A draw (80% of 30A), there was no heating up of the plug. The internal chip of the cable seems to work well with the TESLA, and the car knew that the charge level was limited to 24A. This improves my charging rate from 110V, and is useful at camp grounds where 50A, 250V is not available, but 30A, 110V is available. ... show more

  • Well made, works perfectly
Style: TT-30P RV/ Trailer 30A Gen2
Easy to use, the handle for removing the plug is helpful. Fits in the bag with the other Tesla charging cables and adapters. Handled a 16 hour charging session with no issues.

  • Pricey
Style: TT-30P RV/ Trailer 30A Gen2
Compared to other adapters for the UMC it’s pricey. Works well. Seems well built.

  • Worked great.
Style: TT-30P RV/ Trailer 30A Gen2
I used this to charge my Tesla while camping. It fit my Tesla charger perfectly. I parked my car at the RV hookup. The first time I plugged in, I changed the amps to 24 amp and it remembered that there after. It charged at a rate of around 10 miles an hour.

  • Worked well
Style: TT-30P RV/ Trailer 30A Gen2
Why Tesla doesn’t include this adapter or even sell it is mind blowing. 30amp RV style plug is much more common than the 50 they provide especially if you are at an RV park. In my case I have an RV 30 amp plug at home and this was perfect for this. I used it while I waited to have my permanent charger installed. So apparently if you just try the 50 with an rv adapter it won’t work with the mobile tesla charger. From what I understand it won’t accept it and just shuts the unit off from working so you have to buy this adapter directly for this to work. I thought the price was bit high, I don’t understand why that is the case so that part could be better. I will say this if you consider not installing a charger and you have a 30am rv plug I think you could totally do it with this u it. Like most folks you get home, plug in and by the time you need to use the car it will be more than ready. ... show more

  • Overheats- Buyer beware!!!
Style: TT-30P RV/ Trailer 30A Gen2
It worked great for about a year. I bought a second one and a new mobile charger and still had the same overheating message from my car. So I replaced my wiring, breaker and outlet and still had the same issue.

Totally worth the money I used it for my model s and it pushing 10 miles per hour charge. It’s great to have in the car so if one day I need it I have it
