This cable retractor feels well made, and installation is very simple. The overall design is compact and effective. The release mechanism has worked flawlessly: pull out to desired length, and a slight tug later pulls the cord back in. One minor complaint is that the included cable clamps didn't perfectly fit my Chargepoint Flex, but there are so many cable diameters out there, I understand they can't have something to fit every option. My other concern is that the spring tension is very high. You really need to have a grip on the cable before you let this just retract at it's own pace, or it's going to slam back into the housing. I'd rather have it be too strong than too weak, but I think some kind of screw to adjust the tension would have made for a better experience. Overall, it works well and does it's job, but a little more polish could have led to 5 stars.

This really help us make our garage a little bit mor organized. I always hated the look of the cables on the floor and how it was such a hazard for everyone especially for the kids. I really like this product and the way it functions. Now, we can have the cable come from the ceiling instead of the floor. Pretty solid product that was easy to install as well. Nice size, very compact and yet good quality that does the work. No heat level with it whatsoever and very good quality product. Nice value for the price.

This cable retractor totally cleaned up my garage setup. No more tripping over cables or dealing with a tangled mess. It’s super sturdy, easy to install, and works perfectly with my Level 2 charger. The retractable feature is super smooth and keeps the cord off the ground. Definitely worth it if you want a safer, cleaner charging setup. It looks nice too.

This wall mounted retractor completely solved the problem. The automatic rewind is smooth and strong just unplug, give it a tug, and the cable retracts neatly in seconds. The 11.5-foot length is perfect: long enough to reach the port comfortably without dragging on the ground. The mechanism feels solid and reliable, even after months of daily use, and it keeps the cable firmly in place with no tangling or drooping. Installation was simple, and the result is a much safer, cleaner setup. Installation was easy, just found the stud in the wall and mounted it there next to my Tesla charger. The retractor feels solid, weighty and well built. Original price when I got it was $170 which is crazy expensive. It is now priced at $100 but there are competitors at $70-80. That takes a star off the rating for me as the original list price is ridiculous. Bottom line: This cable retractor is a convenient, reliable way to keep your EV charging area tidy and hazard-free as long as you are paying the appropriate price and not list price.

This is a great product for anyone who has an EV and needs to plug it in across the garage bay. This device will allow you to be able to pull your vehicle into the garage bay with the charge port on the side opposite the charger and simply pull the connection down from the ceiling rather than running it across your garage floor. The retraction cord can be pulled to the desired level and will hold in that position so there is not pressure on the connection with your vehicle. The device is easy to mount, sturdy, and functions as expected. It has a sleek modern look. I believe the price is reasonable and I highly recommend it!
