  • Great As A Ventoy Drive
Size: 256GB Style: X1 MAX
This was very easy to use. It will transfer files very fast. It didn't seem to overheat. I'm using it as a Ventoy Drive for multiple Linux ISOs. I haven't had it long enough to know how durable it might be, but so far it's holding up well.

  • So fast
Size: 256GB Style: X1 MAX
This thing is so fast, moves folders with 25-75MB pictures at the advertised 1000/s. It for sure throttles and gets hot. Those 1000MB speeds don't last long but even at steady state it's still over 300MB/s so should work for an otg os install

  • Improved and excellent performance even on a 3.1 Gen1 USB port. USB-C cap not reliable fitment.
Size: 256GB Style: X1 MAX
MUCH higher performance on older USB3.1 Gen1 port than all other USB3.1 Gen1 USB or SSD drives I've used on that same USB port. The USB-A plastic cap doesn't care which orientation is used to affix it to the drive. It's firmly held in place either way. The USB-C plastic cap that protects the "C" end of the drive is to be affixed only one way, and the little plastic extensions that "lock" the cap in place to the internal mating plastic extension worked well and "clicked" 2 times, but on the 3rd attempt, the "C" protector cap no longer "clicks" in place and too easily slides off the end of the drive. VERY unreliable "C" protector cap after just 2 uses even though there is no damage to the plastic bits. I think it's just due to slight deformation of the plastic cap after just 2 uses. Also, if you do happen to mount the "C" cap the "wrong" way, the lip of the cap hangs from the main case out by about 0.8mm and WILL catch on things...and will likely be completely pulled off the drive (by pocket edges, scraping over desk items, etc) thus exposing the "C" plug, and causing loss of the cap. It does quickly get quite warm, especially while writing data. 20C=Ambient temp (~70F) 44C=Max Temp, Standby (drive left unselected in XYplorer program) 59C=Max Temp, during writing of ~16GB @ 35,000 files (simple "selectall" filecopy, including subfolders) I am worried because neither the drive package nor the drive case specified OTG, yet the Amazon seller's product page claims OTG. Leaves unsure how well drive supports OTG operations. ... show more

  • TEAMGROUP is the best buy for reliability, speed and price.
Size: 64GB Style: X1
I bought TEAMGROUP flash drives, 128 GB, 32GB, 64GB and will put this all in this review. I used other brands and had many problems with them. But TEAMGROUP is now the only flash drives I will purchase as 100% of them were fast, reliable, functional and reasonably priced.

  • Blazing Fast Transfer Speeds!
Size: 1TB Style: X2 MAX
Very pleased with is drive’s performance! Blazing fast transfer speed. I transferred 22gb from m.2 gen 5 ssd in under 25 seconds. AMAZING! I may buy a second stick to keep on hand.

  • Fast but TOASTY (X1 Max 256gb)
Size: 256GB Style: X1 MAX
*UPDATE* Bad sectors after a few months of usage. 1: Super fast burst speeds of up to 800MB/s for around 10 seconds of file transfer but it thermal throttles itself down to 380MB/s and then keeps going lower until it hits the lowest speeds of 30MB/s at 84 degrees Celsius after a few minutes. 2: Synthetic tests can indeed reach up to the marketed 1000MB/s. 3: Metal enclosure, I hate the detachable plastic covers on both ends so I took them off and threw them back in the packaging for safe keeping. 4: Both the USB A and USB C sides are able to do the fastest speeds, but be careful to not burn your fingers off when unplugging. 5: Overall good product for a relatively cheap price of ~$40 for the 256gb version. Fix the thermal issues in the next version or with a possible firmware update and use a different design for the caps and then it's 5 stars. ... show more

  • Speedy as heck for a USB
Size: 512GB Style: X1 MAX
Fast fast fast. No lag writing. Benchmarked at super speed for a USB. Had Sandisk, and it was so slow. Got this and it half as fast ‘slower’ than an SSD, and you wont notice it unless you are writing unless you are writing 10gb files. Read is even faster. Typical econo USB write at a small fraction of this one. Its a big, small compared to the other fast drives, but for what you get, its really great. ... show more

  • DEFINITE purchase investment!!!
Size: 512GB Style: X1 MAX
As advertised when using PROPER USB C port. USB A 3.1 port slightly slower as expected. SOLID BUY!! Very hard to find "as expected" speeds and transfer rates. DEFINITE purchase investment!! Drive will get quite warm but it is to be expected.
