Had my eye out for a level 2 charger for a couple weeks and came across this one on a good sale. Didn't want to spend the 500+ on the wall mount name brand ones, but didn't want cheap junk either. Couldn't pass this up for the reviews and price. So far so good. Works great and functions as advertised without hiccups. The adjustable current is nice and it does indeed charge at 32 amps. I really like that it comes with a wall mount for where it'll stay 90% of the time and is so quickly detachable and portable, and comes with a carrying case. That's pretty convenient for me compared to other options, and the wall mount looks neat and clean. The cords are very thick and heavy duty which I really like. Gives me hope that when they inevitably get twisted around and dragged on the ground to the car they will be durable for a long, long time. Plus it just looks and feels reassuring when dealing with ~7,500 watts of power running thru it for hours. Cord is generously long (25ish feet I think) so I will have no problem running it outside the garage door to the car when I gave other cars in there. Will update if it gives me problems, but so far I am very very happy with it at such a good price point.

When I bought this, it was on sale and I got a great deal that I worried that there must be some catch, but there wasn’t. This thing works fine. It came with an adapter for a Tesla but will also charge cars that have the J1772 type plug. It has some scheduling and other features that I don’t use because I just schedule the charging through my Tesla. I didn’t explore it, but it seems like it’s possible to either program it to start charging from the unit itself or using an app that you can install, which I did set up and is fine although not super fancy. It’s also possible to charge at 32 A or less. Finally, it does come with an adapter that allows you to charge very slowly with a 110 connection, but you’re not gonna be happy with that charging rate for routine use, you definitely want to get a 240 volt/ 50 or 60 amp circuit set up. In summary, this does everything that the Tesla, mobile charger does but cost less. Furthermore, if you ever want to charge non-Tesla cars, this would give you more flexibility than a Tesla mobile charger.

this product is not made properly. i installed this product on a customers house. after he failed to diy it. he had cut the plug end of the cord(not sure why) in side the male end that goes to the house was only 3 wires. one black (hot wire) one white (hot wire) and one green. the green is looped in the head of the plug as a ground and a neutral (commonly know as a country ground) this is extremely dangerous in the gas that something happens to the s/o cord and the green is damaged or this is a fault it has not actual dedicated ground. which it states in the instructions is extremely important to have and should not be used without one.

It's worked great so far. Easy to use and comes with the adapter you will need for a Tesla. The cover with the stars and stripes slips off so you don't really have to worry about which version you get (unless you plan on mounting it to a wall - I think). I leave it on the ground. The chord is nice and long and thick so there shouldn't be any issues there. It's got extra timing and current limiting features and whatnot but I don't use them since my goal is always to charge as fast as possible as soon as possible. I love the performance for the price.

I didn't have much expectations from a home charger. But this one has been just great. No issues with the 32amp power delivery. The app is straight forward shows you the current draw and charge rate and time. And just works well with my Tesla. The only gripe and possible update I would make to newer models is to add the button to unlock the charger from charge handle instead of having to do it through the Tesla app. Other than that charger is great and works as it should.

I went through 2 Tesla Mobile Chargers in the 5 years I've had my Model S. Instead of paying $250-350 again, I decided to see what 3rd parties have to offer. This charger has a pretty cool screen on it, for doing the things the Tesla already does (setting charge rate, delayed start, etc). It also has a big, clunky connector, which might actually be tougher than the Tesla mobile charger's connector. I'd keep this except I have a 240V/50A circuit to my garage, and this charger tops out at 32A. The Tesla Mobile Chargers went to 40A on my setup. So, I am returning this in favor of a faster home charging solution.
