This is a great boot to throw on to run to the store or run a few errands. It’s warm and the bottom is real rubber. It is not slippery when you walk across snow and then into the store. Great traction on the sidewalk too. Water resistant. Runs a little wide but that’s great for winter socks.

These boots come shipped in a bag in a large padded envelope. When they first arrive they seem a bit misshapen, but that doesn’t last once you try them on. The sole is extremely flexible. That is neither good nor bad on its own, but it offers no stability or support. These really remind me of house slippers made to look like boots. The listing says suede. I’m always skeptical when I read “suede” or “leather” in a product listing, so I always check the details for materials. These specifically say “outer material: suede”. I was still skeptical but decided to try them anyway. They are ultrasuede; fabric, not a leather product. There is no tag on the shoe itself listing materials, but I believe the upper is entirely man made materials. The inside fur is similar to a cheap stuffed animal. If I had seen these before purchasing, I wouldn’t expect them to cost more than $20 or so. Even at that I’d pass. These boots are low quality materials, but do still seem to be constructed okay. The boot is only glued to the sole, however, and is not stitched at all. The listing also says “water resistance level: waterproof”. They are not. The sole is rubber, so it’s waterproof. It’s about an inch thick, so you can step in a puddle up to an inch deep without getting wet. But the material soaks up water. It beads for a second or two and then the water soaks right in. With some good waterproofing spray these may work pretty well. As they come, though, I wouldn’t even call them water resistant.

These are very nice shoes for the price! I have a wider foot, so not everything fits me comfortably, but these are perfect. They look to be sturdy and well made, and are comfortable without any break-in necessary. I have only worn them in dry weather, so I don’t know how they stand up to rain/snow. They look to be some type of suede on the outside, so I personally would be reluctant to wear then in any kind of wet weather.

These were a great buy for the price! Stylish and comfy! The only complaints I have are that they aren't very warm, and have a strange sole. The heel is much higher than the toes so you'll be toes down when you wear these. I still wore them for our 5 day ski trip and really liked them!
