The first few months the boots were perfect. Then the seal along leather and rubber sole parted a little and started to leak. Now one of the shoe string upper clips broke off while tying the shoe. I was very impressed to begin with but would not suggest the product now. I update my review to a 4 since the seller reached out to me after posting the review and has sent a replacement. Customer service has been EXCELLENT! I will not know if these shoes will hold up better until I start work in spring but feel the customer support and willingness to send replacements moves my review to a 4 and could go up with this pair holds up better. ... show more

    • Generally Good Work Boot for Occasional Wear
Size: 7.5 Color: Black/5
Boots seem well made and not bad for the $40 I paid for them on an Amozon Lightening Deal. They are a little large but I wear a 7-1/2 and manufacturers don't seem to make many of that size and therefore boots/shoes in that size seem to vary in the fit. These boots lace all the way to the top through regular plastic oblong eyelets unlike my previous boots that had 2 rows of cleats on the top that you didn't have to thread the laces through. Lack of these cleats make it harder and takes longer to put on and take off the boots. There is no tab to grab on the back top of the boots to help pull them on. Otherwise boots are fairly comfortable (insoles seem a little thin) and should serve fine as "work boots" for occasional wear. If I were to wear these as everyday work boots I would consider some other boots. On the old Redwing Boots I had for years, the uppers were fine but the soles delaminated as did another pair of cheaper work boots that I had. Although the new boots look as if the soles are attached in the same manner as the old boots I had. Probably all boots manufactured in China are made this way but I hope the soles stay on these as goop and other glues could not repair and stop the delamination on the old boots and I had to discard them. ... show more

Been wearing for work 2 weeks now and am happy with the fit and wear so far. I do resort maintenance, so I do a lot of walking. Time will tell how they last. But for now, I am satisfied with them

It's waterproof, keeps your feet warm for sure HOWEVER, it is NOT "Slip Resistant" as the description says. I would not recommend wearing in wet conditions outdoors nor indoors. Almost fell indoors when floors were a little wet. Update: They handled my problem professionally right away. They do care what goes on and I hope the boots they have out gets improvements. ... show more

Update: falling apart...dang! Wore these for 2 hunting seasons in Colorado. Very comfortable, stable footprint, warm enough for 20-30 degrees. I wore them with toe warmers below 10 degrees in knee deep snow with gaiters, no issues so far. Likely will buy a second pair, they are soo comfortable.
