I received this bench 2 days ago. This bench came packaged very well. Everything that was needed was in the box, nothing missing (pic 2 and 3). The one piece (I would say the frame piece) that connects the front to the back had a slight bend where it connects (pic 1). That wasn't a big deal I was able to give it a slight bend back. The one thing that did happen is where the frame piece connects to the front, it slides in and then you bolt it in. I wound up over tightening the bolt and stripping the hole. I just put some lock tight on the bolt and put it back in to where it was still able to grab the treads of the hole (those bolts that use a 13 mm socket, I would just make them tight and not over tighten them). The the instructions were very east to follow. I took my time putting it together and took about a couple hours (I'm sure if I rushed, it would of been done in an hour). The tools you will need is a phillips screw driver, 2 - 17 mm sockets, 2 - 19 mm sockets, and 1 - 13 mm socket. The ones that need 2 sockets is so the other end doesn't spin. I don't have wrenches that size. Where the seat piece and the back rest piece meet their is a bolt that you slide through so they connect. Just make that bolt is snug. The tighter you make it, the seat and back rest won't slide up and down easy. So far over all, this bench is very solid (pic 4 is the bench all assembled). What I really like is this is just like the benches at the gym. I wanted a bench that was heave duty and this is definitely that. I would recommend this bench especially if you the prefer the style benches at the gym and for the price. I been on other sites were benches like this run from the upper $400s to $600. I put 5 stars because there was nothing that effected this bench getting put together correctly, the way the bench works, or the integrity of the bench. ... show more

    • Bench with MANY issues. Poor Customer Service from Synergee.
Let me start off by saying that finding a bench that accommodates many needs can be tough. I stumbled upon this bench for the reason of A. It was adjustable for incline, flat and a SLIGHT decline. B. The thickness of the pad seemed as though it would make it comfortable. Received the bench in a box that was in good condition. All the parts came with the bench EXCEPT for screws that secured the plate (the bottom part of the bench) to the pad. Multiple bolts were missing. Luckily, I had some that came with the packaging and those have held up so far. Adjusting the bench between incline and flat can be rather difficult. The pin does not always want to pull out correctly making it stuck in one position unless you really pull on that push and then tap it into the slot as if the holes were not drilled properly. Lastly, after using the bench for a few months now, the finish on the material of the bench is wearing off. Its going from a black finish and slowing turning whitish/brown and no we have never been on the bench soaking wet nor have used any cleaning products, strictly a wet cloth. After reaching out to the company for a replacement, they had to wait over a MONTH for new stock at Amazon, which didn't make sense to me since they should be sending the replacement? not Amazon? Anyways, it took me to message them again to ask where the stock was as it had been 6 weeks since in contact. They REQUIRED a 100$ deposit for the new bench until I received the bench, boxed up the old one, shipped the old one back and once they received the old bench and checked it out, they would give me my $100 back. Sorry your bench material did not last even the slightest of 4 months. I do NOT recommend this bench especially for the price but more importantly for the poor customer service and customer care that I received from this company. I highly recommend you look somewhere else and spend a little bit more for a higher quality bench from a company who cares about its customers happiness. ... show more

This bench had a few reviews when I purchased it, so I took a gamble based on what I saw in the pictures and read in the description, specs wise. I must say now that I have it, I'm glad that I took that chance. The bench was easy to assemble, is super sturdy and hefty feeling, looks clean, and is decently priced I think for what is out there. Being in Hawaii where shipping heavy stuff like this can be pricey, the prime shipping was a huge selling point for me. I would highly recommend this bench. ... show more

I looked for a bench for weeks...I would decide on one and then it’s out of stock. That happened several times. Then I came across this one...a little more money but I decided to pull the trigger and man am I glad I did. This bench is SOLID!, easy to put together, and easy to move around. There are a few reviews talking about misaligned parts metal shavings, etc., but those had to be a fluke. We are super happy with it...wife and I will be working out at home now, so no more gyms for us. This bench is damn near gym quality for <$400 and will last us a long time....highly recommended! ... show more
