Update: 3/5 stars I’ve used this bench a few times now. Truthfully, I kind of wish I had done a bit more research or just went for it and purchased a better brand. This one will do, but it’s not as sturdy as I would like. It’s not great for all bench exercises such as reverse sit ups. The seat is not fixed in place enough. The bolt provided to set the positions still allows the seat to wiggle if you put any reverse stress on it at all, making that movement in particular almost impossible. Hard to explain, but I hope that makes sense. If I hadn’t already bought this bench, I’d probably look elsewhere. Original review: We’re adding some gym equipment to our garage to make it easier to get a quick workout in. I used this bench for just a minute after assembly to test it out; it seems like decent quality. Super easy to assemble; it comes about 90% pre-assembled. Weighty so hopefully sturdy. The four base feet are adjustable which I find super nifty if you’re on a slightly uneven surface. I like the versatility of the bench; it can be adjusted to a variety of positions depending on the exercise you want to do. Overall, I’d say this is a pretty solid purchase. Only time will tell really. I’ll try to remember to give an update after a few months. Really hoping it lasts.

Really happy with this bench so far. It’s sturdy, comfortable, and feels like it can handle some serious use. The padding is thick enough to be comfortable without feeling soft or unstable, and the whole thing has a heavy-duty feel to it. Nothing wobbles or shifts around when you're working out, which is exactly what you want from a bench like this. Adjusting it is quick and easy—everything locks into place without a fight, and it feels secure in every position. This only gets a 4 star because of the quality, the quality is somewhat on the lower end, if you have the bench in decline mode and the little feet holders to do sit-ups, the feet holders clank quite a bit and the seat portion kind of moves. The design is my favorite part, it can decline and incline while holding my feet! Assembly is very very easy less than 15min. Movement is great the feet on the bench are adjustable so if you have an uneven floor it doesn’t matter. TL;DR, Okay quality. Incline / Decline is great. Foot pegs have adjustable feet for uneven surfaces. Seat little shaky using decline for sit ups.

Very solid and sturdy. Stable and aligned perfectly. Easy and quick installation. You bold down the two legs and the footpad. Adjusting the seat and back support is smooth and could do it with one hand. I’m 6’2” and the bench has good length that supports my head and still have like about 2” on me when laying down. Easy to fold and small enough to be tucked away in the corner. Now some people mentioned they wished they had a way of storing the pin when it’s taken out in order to fold the bench. I used a strong magnet I had for holding my pistol. I put adhesive on it and attached it next to where the pin is inserted. It solved that issue. I’m attaching a picture. Overall, legit!

Been using this bench for about 2 months now and it's exceeded every expectation I had. The build quality is immediately noticeable — no wobble, no creaking, even when pushing heavier loads. The adjustability is where it really shines. I've used it for incline press, decline, flat bench, shoulder press, and seated curls — the angle positions are well-spaced and the adjustment mechanism is quick and smooth. No fumbling between sets. It's an OK bench, it's a little unstable, it adjusts very easily and it feels sturdy it just feels like it wobbles a bit. My main issue with it, and the thing that brought me back to write this review, is that it's just too tall. The product listing doesn't have the actual height of the bench listed anywhere, but from the floor to the top of the pad it's 20.5 inches. That's 3.5 inches more than a standard bench, and it really matters. As a result, I can't put my feet flat on the floor comfortably, and I'm going to be replacing this bench.

If you have a very compact space for your home gym this is the bench you need. It's easy to assemble, works great and value for money is great. Unless you're a large person and elite athlete, it's probably plenty sturdy. Rough/rubber flooring helps to stabilize. My husband actually convinced me to buy a more expensive heavy-duty bench from REP at first bc he was worried about stability, and I ended up hating it because it was such a pain in the butt to move it in our small space. I use our gym more than he does so I decided to try a different bench. This flybird bench is light enough that I could manage to pick up the whole thing and carry it up/down stairs if I need to. The folding saves so much storage space, and the fact that the adjustable mechanisms actually latch into place is also really helpful when moving it. Our heavy-duty bench had a slot system that did not latch into place making it even harder to move the thing. Like I said unless you're an athlete benching hundreds of lbs regularly it's not worth trying to deal with a heavy-duty bench in a small space. Hoping this review might save someone from making the same mistake we did.
