Assembly - The instructions are as good as any instructions I've seen. It has clear pictures with each part clearly labeled, AND it has written instructions, AND the English in the instructions is correct. - The parts are thoughtfully packed. Parts needed earlier in the assembly are on top, and you work down the box. Everything stayed neatly in the box until needed. - Everything fit together without any issues, mis-sized or misaligned holes, etc. - They shipped an extra each of two smaller washers, but only shipped 14 of the larger instead of the 15 indicated in the packaging, and called for by the instructions. This is a pretty common problem a lot of companies seem to have.. Luckily it wasn't one of the curved washers that can't be easily replaced from the stash in the garage workbench. Use - So far, no issues in a first workout. The unit seems solid and stable. It does not feel like it is going to tip, does not wobble, etc., with everything from seated presses, various inclined presses, declined sit-ups, bent-over single-arm rows, and hyperextension/back-ups. - Incline/decline, pad height, etc. adjustments are quick and easy. - The padding is comfortable enough. It definitely doesn't feel like a professional gym machine, and I'd expect it to wear out much faster, but that's to be expected for the price. - Various product images show dumbbells on the two lower rods. Nothing in the instructions indicates to do this for added stability/safety, or just convenient storage, but the unit seems stable enough without any added weight. - I would prefer that the head/back came up another 1" or so. It is just a tad short when fully vertical. I am 6'1". 6'5" guys might want a bigger bench if head support for vertical presses is an important feature. - Similarly, the preacher pads are a tad narrow for me - would prefer they were a couple inches further apart. They are too narrow for preacher curls using a bar, for instance. Minor issue for me since I use 100% dumbbells and one arm at a time will work fine for me. A minor nit, but one that could be easily engineered away. The placement of the pads is adjustable - they just need to lengthen the support bar a bit and put two holes instead of one. - On the other hand, the unit is reasonably compact. The floor footprint from foot-foot is exactly 5'.

I purchased this after seeing several positive YouTube reviews. I was not disappointed. This was a breeze to assemble. I suggest using your own tools for a quicker process. You will need a decent socket set and a long Allen wrench set. The box was not all that heavy for me (avid lifter at 240 lbs), but smaller persons may need some assistance moving the box to your workout area. We use our garage to lift so I had plenty of room to unpack and unwrap everything. The bolts, nuts, and washers were well-marked and organized. Assembly took me maybe 90 minutes working alone from opening the box to cleaning up. A second person would easily reduce that by 20-30 minutes. The bench itself is sturdy for me. If your floor is level, it should not wobble. I wouldn't use this to bench 400 lbs, but few can do that so it should not be a worry. My wife will use it more than I will, but I will use it for decline dumbbell presses, ab work, and hypertension.

Overall, I’m very pleased with this purchase. Just the option to do back extensions alone is worth the price and difficult to find on other benches. Build qualities overall good it’s sturdier than I expected. The only negatives so far after a week or so of use is, I would like the forward pads to be more adjustable for wider placement of your arms for curls. They could easily make this adjustable. More decline options would be helpful. And lastly, there is a bracket that falls from beneath the seat that looks like it serves some purpose, but there is no discussion of it in the manuals, and it appears like it was left over from a previous design. If anyone knows the purpose, please let me know and I might boost my rating to five stars as it may do something exciting I don’t know about.

Old review below. ************************************** Build quality for the price is meh Bench frame appears to be slightly bent causing it to not sit flat till weigh is applied. Powder coating is missing in spots and some of the staples for the upholstery are off causing the fabric to be loose. I wouldn't purchase again.

This exercise bench is amazing. if you need help working your abs this bench is a game changer and the customer service is legendary. They go above and beyond. Isabelle really went the extra mile to make sure everything was what I was hoping for. I wish there were more companies out there like Finer-Form.

Great bench at a great price. Assembled it by myself with no problems. Parts are well machined and line up perfectly. Seems very sturdy. Inclines and declines quickly and easily. Wheels make moving it a breeze. Padding is thick but supportive. Weight rack underneath is a nice feature. Only been using it about 6 weeks so will edit if any durability issues. Nice addition to my home gym.
