  • This one's not going back
This is a great workout bench and the support team is even better. First, when the package arrives, be very careful where you cut into the box, because if you cut down the center with a long blade, you might hit the back pad. I read that on an earlier post and was careful. Once the box is open it is easy to take inventory of all the parts. The hardware (nuts, bolts, etc.) is encased in plastic and labeled, making it super easy to account for all the parts and to put the bench together. All the required tools are included, although I preferred to use my own socket wrenches (metric). The instructions are easy to follow. I actually had fun building it. Once built, the bench is solid and has a lot of settings to allow you to do a complete workout of most muscle groups Being a Flat, Incline and Decline (FID) bench, it allows you to work different parts of each muscle group (e.g. upper and lower pecs) It is also great for doing setups, hyper extensions and Roman Chair workouts. The package also includes a nice chart that you can hang on the wall. It shows many of the various workouts you can do with this bench. Now for their support: First, the online documentation is great. They have charts of workouts using this bench as well as charts for general workouts with dumbbells without the bench. They also have an online booklet showing exercises for each muscle group. After building the bench, my wife saw a wrinkle on the back pad and she was worried that it might wear through the covering over time. I sent a comment with a picture of the wrinkle to the company website. At 2:30 AM Pacific time the following morning (the company and I are both in California), they had already printed a USPS shipping label for a replacement back pad. They followed up with emails. I had a great email exchange with Isabel. I give their support team a ten out of five rating. ... show more

  • Outstanding Product
I bought this bench because I needed something sturdy and compact for my home workouts, and it’s turned out to be a great addition. Putting it together was easy, and once assembled, the whole thing feels solid—much sturdier than a lot of other benches I’ve used in the past. The design just makes sense; there’s enough padding to be comfortable, but it’s firm enough for heavy lifting, and the adjustable features work smoothly without any wobble. One thing that surprised me is how easily I can tuck it away when I’m not using it, which is huge if you’re working with limited space like I am. I actually had a small hiccup with one of the parts right before setting it up, but reaching out to customer service was simple and they handled it quickly. They sent a replacement and I had it within four days—which is honestly faster than I expected. If you need a reliable, versatile bench for your home workouts, I definitely recommend this one. It’s held up strong and hasn’t given me any trouble, and the company seems to really care about their customers. ... show more

  • Great bench - Lousy assembly instructions!
The instructional manual was HORRIBLE. The manual which hardware to use BUT lacked PICTURES of the actual bench assembly!! Basically you had blank pages with hardware numbers and lines connecting to NOTHING! Luckily, I was able to find a similar bench on their website and piece everything together, but if you're not good at DIY stuff, then you might pass on this bench. The assembly wasn't hard once I tracked down a manual with ACTUAL PICTURES. As for bench quality. I do like it. The bench seems solid, well-built, and versatile for lots of exercises. I'm going to take 1 star off for a nightmare of an instruction manual though. I WANT to take off 2 stars for that annoyance, but the bench really is a nice setup. ... show more

  • Great bench all-around
Great bench so far and the Roman chair extension is very useful. Im 5’9 and fit fine with length to spare on the back. The bench is sturdy and it looks good. No problems with durability yet, but I’ve only used it a few weeks so I’ll report back if anything happens. Seat and back are easy to adjust with multiple positions. The Roman chair extension is easy to put in or remove. Bench is a good weight, heavy enough that it’s stable but still light enough to move it easily. I’ve used it for many types of exercises including lifting weights 200-250lbs as well as box jumps and step ups; works well for everything so far. Assembly was easy and instructions were clear, just took a few extra minutes due to the support bars and attachment pieces. One thing to note is that it’s about a half inch lower to the ground than my last bench. That’s not a good or bad thing, just something to keep in mind if you have a cage with regular settings for J hooks, you may need to adjust them. The total length of the base of the bench is also a little longer than a standard bench because of the Roman chair attachment. Again, it’s not good or bad, just worth checking the length to make sure it fits where you want it. ... show more

  • Still great, 4 years in.
Writing this in 7/2026, bought in March 2022. I use this for bench press and other similar lie-on-your-back dumbbell lifts, sit-ups and back extensions. It is totally solid and not at all wobbly. It is just as good as the day I bought it. For context, I'm careful with it but use it frequently. I'm medium-sized and middle-aged, so I'm not some 250 pound guy lifting 750 pounds. I wish they had put numbers on the adjustable leg attachment so I could more easily remember which setting to use for sit-ups vs. back extensions. The plastic end caps on the leg roller fall off a lot which does not matter. Some day I'll get around to gluing them, or I could just throw them out as I think they are just decorative. The entire thing is light enough that I can easily reach between the pads with one hand lift it and move it around. ... show more

  • Great for the cost
Let’s start with the pros: This bench can be used for many exercises because of the attachments and adjustability of the back. The cushions are thick enough that there’s no metal digging into your skin when you work out (unlike cheaper options) This is one of the few benches at this price range that can do incline all the way to decline Easy to assemble with the provided manual, it took me about a half hour. Light enough when assembled that I can lift it with ease Sturdy. I have not felt unstable while using this bench. Cons: There is only one setting for decline. If you do a lot of decline work or are looking for a steep decline, this may not work for you No matter how much you tighten the bolts, the back piece is a little wobbly (just enough that it’s noticeable, it’s not enough to unbalance you) The foot placement piece on the bench is very smooth and slippery (but this can be fixed with some grip tape or just wearing good shoes) Overall: I enjoy having this bench greatly, it has been a great improvement to my home gym setup. All of the cons I have listed weren’t big enough issues for this to not be a product I recommend. I’m not sure of the durability of the PU leather over time, but for now it is performing good with everyday use. ... show more

  • Great value, solid bench
I recently decided to invest in the Finer Form Multi-Functional FID Weight Bench and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. As a fitness enthusiast who does a lot of strength training, I needed a bench that could provide me with the necessary support and functionality without breaking the bank. This bench more than exceeded my expectations, giving me excellent quality for its value. One of the things I appreciated most about the Finer Form Weight Bench was how easy it was to assemble. Everything arrived well-packaged, with clear instructions on how to put everything together. I was able to assemble it on my own without needing any additional help or tools, which is a great relief when dealing with complicated fitness equipment. The bench itself is incredibly durable and well-made. The steel frame is sturdy and can support up to 1000 lbs of weight, and the thick padding on the back and seat provides excellent support and comfort during my workouts. I also appreciate the versatile design of the bench, which allows me to adjust the angle to fit my needs, whether for incline, decline or flat bench press. This makes it perfect for a variety of different exercises, including dumbbell curls, shoulder presses and more. Aside from its functionality and high-quality, the bench also looks great. The sleek, all-black design fits perfectly in my home gym setup, and the bench is surprisingly compact so it doesn't take up too much space. I appreciate the attention to detail the design team has paid to the bench to make it both aesthetically pleasing and practical for use. All in all, I can't speak highly enough of the Finer Form Multi-Functional FID Weight Bench. It's an excellent value, and its high quality and ease of assembly have made it an integral part of my workout routine. Its solid build, comfortable padding, and good looks are a bonus, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, multifunctional weight bench. ... show more

  • Decent starter bench, but build quality could be better
I’ve had this bench for almost a year now and use it around 2–4 days a week, depending on my schedule. Overall, it gets the job done for what I wanted—a simple, affordable at-home bench for basic workouts when I’m not at the gym. That said, the build quality isn’t great. The left foot pad was installed incorrectly, so it’s off-center and has visible creases. It’s mostly a cosmetic issue, but still kind of annoying to look at. The bench also has a bit of wobble or flex to it, so I definitely wouldn’t recommend using it for step-ups or anything that requires balance. Despite the flaws, I do like how versatile it is. It adjusts to several angles, and I’ve used it for curls, benching, and a variety of other exercises without major issues. It’s not the sturdiest bench, but for the price, it works fine as a starter or casual-use option. I did briefly consider returning it because of the defective foot section, but I didn’t feel like dealing with the hassle of shipping back a bulky item. In the end, it serves its purpose, but if you want something with better stability and quality, I’d suggest spending a bit more. ... show more
