The coop looks nice once assembled, but the advertised capacity of “6–12 chickens” is very misleading. Realistically, this setup seems comfortable for about 4 hens maximum if you want them to have appropriate space. Assembly was more difficult than expected, and the $100 shipping cost felt expensive for the actual size of the coop. We purchased it believing we could comfortably keep at least 6 hens, but after putting everything together, the coop and run area felt much smaller than expected. It may work well as a starter coop for a small flock, but buyers should not expect it to comfortably house 6–12 adult chickens as advertised. ... show more

    • Pretty, but not very secure
It is a nice size. Easy to assemble. However, this will not likly survive a winter as the materials ate not robust. This is not a very secure coop or run. Easy for preditors to dig under and the latches on doors will not stop raccoons from getting in. We made a LOT of modifications to reinforce the frame, added wire skirting and automatic open/close aluminum door and added secondary, more secure locks on all entries. ... show more

Thinner wood so it won't be a long-term solution but should get at least a couple years out of. Easily put together if you follow the pictures, some are a little harder to decipher but easily corrected if installed incorrectly. Did come with a damaged piece due to shipping that customer service took care of right away and shipped a new one quickly. Rained right after putting together and the coop itself is waterproof. Overall a good starter coop for smaller flocks. I don't think 6-12 hens would be comfortable in it though unless. I have 3 birds and it's the perfect size for them. ... show more

    • Cheap coop! You get what you pay for!
This is not a well made coop. I hate that I purchased it. Pieces of the wood keep chipping off, it's flimsy and the doors do not shut properly. I purchased for chicks, I hope it lasts long enough for them to grow up and put with my other adult chickens.

Super easy to put together and easy to clean and use. Chickens are comfortable and don’t seem stressed. We have all types of weather and the quality of the wood and materials are able to sustain well. The colors and design also makes it easy to maintain. The product does seem on the pricey side, however, it was well worth the money spent. We have a total of 6 chickens and it was a perfect home for them! Highly recommend. ... show more
