The owner of ‘GUTINNEEN’ start the business of making wooden furniture for more than 30 years before. After the year 1999, we found people with animals often enjoy a better quality of health and life because of the positive effect of having an animal companion. So we start trying pet houses. Great value for having a small flock, adorable, easy to build, exactly what I was looking for. I didn’t want to invest thousands in to a coop yet for first time chicken owner so this was perfect Good coops. Easy to assemble. Not perfect but they work well. This coop door is very good and works perfectly. Didn't take long for the chickens to realize the coop door would close at a consistent time each day and they would be safely inside for the night. Easy to set the timer and easily changed when needed. I recently purchase this coop and I am absolutely happy with it my hens have plenty of space to nest and there is also plenty of room to roost it is a great addition to my chicken run it is also very adaptable to other runs. Great purchase well built easy to build I just replaced our old backyard coop with this one. It’s so much stronger and well built than our last one. It is awesome for my little flock. We are only permitted to have 3 hens in our city. My girls are loving the covered outdoor space in the rain. They no longer have to stay inside when it gets wet. Perfect for 3-4 hens. Keeps our flock dry during rain, provides good shade, has 3 nesting boxes and the inside is pretty spacious. The locks do get a bit difficult to use after time due to dirt and dander, but not too big a problem. When I got it it came in 2 well packaged boxes. While others say the wood can damaged, I had little to no problem with it. The instructions were clear and it was very easy to put together. I loved how this one had a room and many access doors. While the description says that it should be good for chickens, I think that it is good for smaller birds. My quail love all the areas in the coop. While the coop was good quality and came on time, the only problem I had was that something kind of had a chemically smell and the texture of the roof was kinda coming off. It looks exactly like the picture. While it had wheels, it was kind of hard to move it unless you pick it up higher. The functionality of it was great with all the doors, air vent, close able door, and the metal slide out tray. The door to the coop was kinda small and I don’t think it would be great for big chickens. I think that for the price it is a great coop for smaller birds. ... show more

I bought this as a secondary coop for 2 specialty chickens. It was easy to assemble and pretty sturdy. The wood is fairly soft, so I screwed a few screws in too far, but they seem to be ok. My chickens don't care for the roosting bars, so I removed them, but they are a nice option. There are several doors for easy access to the coop both inside and outside in the run. I have added an auto open/close chicken door and a heater for the cold temps we have. The coop is not insulated, I may consider trying to add some insultation next summer. I like the easy access trays for the bedding. The access to the nesting boxes is great. I would say this coop is worth the money, and recommend purchasing.. Update: after having the coop for a few months and in a northern climate, I can say that I’m disappointed that the wood seems so soft that the nesting box has started to fall off the side of the coop. We currently have it supported with 2x4’s until we can build a better structure in the spring. I also added a heated watering container which keeps the water from freezing. I do really like the coop, but the items we’ve added to it, make it better for our cold weather. ... show more

Good coops. Easy to assemble. Not perfect but they work well. The bottom pull out for cleaning does not work well so I just shovel out from the big side door. Rain will leak into the bottom of the side door so I now have a piece of plywood leaning against the coops which works well. I also placed a piece of plywood over the top of the run so they have a covered area. I use furring strips to screw plastic to the sides of the run in winter (northern WI) which keeps them cozy. Buried hardware cloth around the sides to keep out predators. I made a larger run for daytime then lock the doors of the secure little run at night. Easily fits 10+ birds with a large feeder on the inside. I do not place a heater in the winter and they do just fine. 2+ years of use and it’s still holding up well. Not the greatest construction (thin walls) but works fine. It is nice to have 2 as I can separate birds if needed as I do when I introduce new baby chicks. ... show more

What you’re looking at is the coop after it was flipped over by a bear and who ate 6 out of 7 of our five week old chicks. He crushed the sides, and ate each chick out of the closed coop part. With a bear fence, reinforcements, hardware cloth along the bottom and stakes, MAYBE this would work. And even then as a temporary housing. Maybe this would work in an urban area with fewer predators. I know better than to leave chickens in this full time, so this was our juvenile coop until the new chicks were old enough to go with the main flock. Alas they never made it. Listen, I get it, it’s tempting to get something so cheap. And this isn’t entirely the coop’s fault - I can tell it’s lightweight and I shouldn’t have left the chicks outside in it. But save your money and build something sturdy. Or save up and buy something higher quality. While assembly was easy, it’s bc this little tractor is so flimsy. Save yourself the heartache of lost birds and get something better quality. ... show more

I bought this coop several months ago to save me time and money in building my own, and I'm not entirely sure that worked out for me. Here's what the coop does really well: - Price. I looked around a lot, and this is probably the best price for what it is. - Ease of setup. Anyone can do it. The instructions are easy to follow and it doesn't take a lot of time. - Looking good. I like the look of this coop. It's cute and reasonably well-made. Here are my main problems with this coop: - Ventilation. Two tiny holes is not enough. I had to cut my own ventilation holes and covered them with hardware cloth. - Maintenance. If you want to use the deep-litter method for a low-maintenance coop, don't buy this product unless you are ready and willing to do some significant customization. I did—it works well and wasn't difficult, but it took extra wood, hardware cloth, sealant, and time. - Door. The chicken door is honestly next to useless. It opens and closes only with great difficulty, and has to be operated from inside the run. If you buy this coop, plan on either leaving the door open all the time or installing a new one. - Roost bar. Ideally, the roost bar would be above the nest box, but that is not the case with this coop. As a result, I end up with a lot of chicken poop in the nest box because they are roosting there instead. Unfortunately there's not a great option to raise the roost bar without a bit more customization. I'm weighing the options for that right now. Summary: I needed something relatively cheap that I could customize. I used the covered run area for a duck house and attached both to a larger, walk-in run that I ordered from another seller, so I was never intending to use this product as it came to me. But I wish I hadn't had to make my own ventilation or create a deeper tray for using the deep litter method, and I really wish the door wasn't so poorly made. That being said, this is probably a good starter coop if you have two or three small-sized backyard hens. If you want more than that, this still might be a good option if you are willing to make a few customizations. I waited until now to write the review so that I could see it in use for a reasonable amount of time. It has held up well, but that is probably due in part to the high-quality paint that I covered it with. ... show more

I had a problem with dastardly squirrels believing that had visitation rights into my quail quarters and their scratch treats. This run put an instant end to it lol, I had to alter it to fit from the side and then I secured the end with the same wire cloth. They love it , I love it!

The product functions as advertised with no damage upon delivery, and all coop pieces arrived intact in the shipping box. Assembly proved straightforward; my daughter assisted in connecting the front and back sides of the larger coop area. However, she became distracted, leaving me to complete assembly in a dimly lit living room. The instructions are user-friendly. Disclaimer: The coop lacks water resistance, evident during assembly as it seemed to absorb moisture from my hands. Before housing my birds, I sprayed the exterior with Flex Seal, requiring approximately 1 1/2 cans applied lightly. Additionally, I covered it with a tarp for added rain protection, successfully withstanding a Florida thunderstorm on its first night. Birds: Currently housing 4 Plymouth Rock chickens, all thriving. I received the first egg the day after moving them in, indicating their contentment. Three birds of this size fit comfortably; accommodating four is feasible. Thoughts: Considering the price, it offers unbeatable value, especially for owners seeking a prompt housing solution for their chickens. However, given its non-water-resistant nature, additional precautions against rain are necessary. ... show more

This is a decent coop but after assembling it and using it with ten chicks I can tell you that I really don't feel this is adequate for more than 4 or 5 chickens now that my chicks are 3 months old. Cleaning it out is a bit of a challenge for me because I have back issues, and a couple days ago while I was cleaning it out the roof part that was propped open fell closed, hitting my face and caused some mild abrasions. The side compartments do not have a prop to keep open while you're cleaning those areas or collecting eggs. We set our coop on cinder blocks in the hopes that it might keep the wood from rotting in lieu of being directly on the ground. The wood swells a bit in the humidity so it can be a bit of a challenge to get the door open in the mornings as it does not have a handle to help pull it open. If your coop is not in a fully enclosed run, you'll definitely need small locks to place on both sides and the door as well to keep predators out. ... show more
