  • super cute, quite large and easy to assemble
I thought this was going to be a piece of crap, but didn't care because I just needed more space for my chickens. This took 2 weeks to arrive, but it is so cute, and very easy to assemble. The facia of the chicken coop is completely assembled already, I just had to use a screwdriver and screw it to the bottom and sides. Fairly lightweight. It took me a few hours to assemble and I'm an old lady, my husband was working so he couldn't help much. Only a screwdriver is needed. Instructions are very easy to follow. It turned out to be very sturdy. The wood is treated for outdoor use so no painting is needed. The roof pieces feel very sturdy! Both sides had doors already cut out, including a ramp for the chickens to enter. I am so glad I bought this. ... show more

  • Decent quality for the money.
It’s pretty standard as far as bought coops go. Wood is thin and ok to last several years, but not super heavy duty. Inside is probably only really large enough for 4 full sized chickens. Like most of these, the roosting bar is too low. And space is wasted with 4 nesting boxes. With a coop this size, ONE nesting box would be fine and sufficient. They all tend to lay in the same box anyway. ... show more

  • Functional. Poor Quality
Assembly was easy and took little time. Hardware/latches are cheap junk. Side doors warp and become difficult to close or open. We ended up just setting it aside and purchased a different, better quality coop.

  • Not worth it, but easy to assemble
Cheap. It came damaged, the roof and the side had several holes. We are moving with our chickens from Wy to Arkansas. We built a coop in Wyoming, though impractical to move to AR. We bought this to house our chickens. It is really not big enough for more than 3. We have 8. The ladies are stuck in it for a month while we build and move across the country. I don't understand the point of putting so many in such a little space. Honestly, it worth maybe $100 plus shipping but definitely not $350+. We did have our 18 year old nephew put it together and we was able to do it by himself. ... show more

  • Chicken coop
Just got the chicken coop. Haven't put it together yet. All the pieces look pretty good. Going to do a couple modifications with it but other than that I like how it looks. Just my one concern is how they ship. The box was a little torn or whoever shipped. It was a little rough More updates to come and pictures I'll put a five star until I put it together. That might change. Thank you! ... show more

  • Came broken from the start
The coop came with parts that were broken, we had to add our own wood and things to fix it. After assembling we realized we would need to beef it up in order for our chickens to live in it. It was however pretty easy to assemble. Although it says it can fit up to 8 chickens I think 6 would be the max you would want in your coop. It is a cute little coop. We are planning on painting it red, I just am not sure how long it will last us. ... show more

  • Overall it’s decent
We originally were going to just have 3 chickens and ended up with 5 so I sourced this as a larger coop for them. Size wise it’s nice , should be ok for 5 but that would be a max in my opinion. It was easy to put together. It is a little on the cheesy side as far as quality the biggest problem was gaps in between the boards but fixed with some caulking. Overall would recommend but you may have to upgrade it a little here and there. ... show more

  • Cheap materials
I was hoping that the quality of materials would have been a little better than it is. But, I guess you get what you pay for. The roof seems to be well made as does the lid for the nesting area. I will be installing better door latches as the ones provided are pretty flimsy. I would also recommend putting some type of insulation on the walls and floor as the wood is very thin. I used a thin black fatigue mat and cut to size. It is going to be close quarters for the 8 chickens that I have but, they will mostly only be in it at night. Also, there was not much in the way on instructions but, it's not too hard to figure out how to assemble it. ... show more
