  • Easy Chicken Run Solution - Great Seller
Size: 228.0"L x 108.0"W x 78.0"H
The frame of these runs are super easy to put together and there weren't any errors in the poles. Two people is helpful, but not mandatory. The frame itself went up quickly, but it took a little longer to install the netting. Overall, it took a few days of working a couple hours here and there on it. They work perfect for a chicken run! I wouldn't use just the chicken wire they come with, as that's going to be really easy for a racoon or opossum to break through (already happened once in a spot we missed), but reinforcing it with hardware cloth did the trick. I would look into a stronger anchor if you live in really windy areas, just in case - the pins that hold it down work fine for our area which doesn't see much wind. Now the seller - they have been amazing to work with. We had a tree branch fall on one end of the coop, and I couldn't afford to replace the whole coop, so I reached out to the seller to see if I could purchase just the damaged pieces from them. In the end, there were too many pieces damaged for their inventory, and they were so kind to negotiate an alternative that worked well for me! I ended up purchasing the smallest run (I think it may have been a used one) at a discounted price that probably amounted to just about what the parts would have been. Now I have a few spares in case anything else goes wrong! The seller is very responsive and even though the damage didn't have anything to do with them whatsoever, they were happy to work with me on a solution that wouldn't break the bank. If I need runs in the future, I'll get them here for sure! ... show more

  • Not high end but worth it for the price.
Size: 228.0"L x 108.0"W x 78.0"H
You are paying for the base frame and door only - the rest of it is garbage, YOU WILL NEED MODIFICATIONS. Check reviews for how people modified theirs. Here's what I did: I used it to house my vegetable garden and keep squirrels, chipmunks etc out. Frame is very easy to put together with two people. You can walk it around if you need to move it. The chickenwire and zip ties that come with this coop are trash. I bought heavy duty hardware cloth separately and "sewed" it on using both galvanized wire and steel zip ties (be careful of sharp edges if youre keeping animals). The roof will sag at the corners if you don't add an extra bar/T clamp like another person shared in her review. I layered up the cheap chickenwire and used it to line the floor so nothing could dig in, then covered with dirt and mulch. Dig those walls into the ground (friend also buries broken glass for her coop), added a brick perimeter too for good measure, used U shaped trampoline stakes to hold the structure down. For the gaps in the door you can use greenhouse panel to close them off. It is easy to cut. Drill holes in the panel and use the wire/metal zip ties to secure to the door frame. The lock that comes with the coop is also trash. I zip tied two blocks of wood onto the door and frame and screwed on a door latch i bought separately (Its a gravity lock so I put a string in case I accidentally locked myself in). I also used a gate anti-sag kit to strengthen the door and keep it from warping. The entire setup has worked all summer with no issue. Nothing got in except me and the bees! ... show more

  • Great value, easy to assemble
Size: 228.0"L x 108.0"W x 78.0"H
Easy setup, excellent instruction, generous supply of chicken wire and extra nuts and bolts. I’m almost 80 and was able to assemble this with no problems.

  • Worth the price: Will need upgrades for safety
Size: 6.5'L x 9'W x 6.5'H
It was fairly easy to assemble and took around 4 hours. Probably wouldn't have taken so long but the GA heat is no joke. One issue however is some of the poles were drilled on the wrong side so a few of the nipple locks proved unusable. The door does bend a little when opening and closing, but it wouldn't take anything to run a brace across it. We ran hardware cloth along the bottom as well as boards to prevent predators from getting in, and it has worked nicely so far keeping them safe. I also built a coop on the outside and cut the chicken wire to open into the coop. The chicken wire it came with is thinner and more flimsy than what you would normally see at a feed store. Just to keep that in mind. I've had this pen for 9 months now and it is serving its purpose well. My chickens only stay in it at nighttime and free range during the day. There is a little bit of rust forming along the edges but nothing major. I actually ordered a 2nd pen of the same brand to connect the two together as my hens hatch out new babies I'll need the space and this size would only have enough room for about 6 chickens. All in all it works great and the price is nice. ... show more

  • Snow got us
Size: 228.0"L x 108.0"W x 78.0"H
First winter with chickens and the run collapsed after the first snowfall. Very heavy snow. I reinforced it was support beams. But wasn’t expecting this.. other than that it’s a great run.

  • Measurements not as advertised.
Size: 13'L x 9'W x 6.5'H
The run was actually 12.5 ft long instead of 13ft. The braces do add extra support. I have another brand without those and can tell a difference. Not happy that I didn't get the square footage I paid for though.

  • Good coop
Size: 6.5'L x 9'W x 6.5'H
Great value for the cost. It was easy to set up, my kids and I had fun with the set up. It is stable and sturdy. The size is great if you have small pets or birds

  • Safe chickens!
Size: 25'L x 9'W x 6.5'H
The media could not be loaded. This was an easy structure to put up. And it is strong and secure. The only reason I have it 4 stars is because the chicken wire and zip ties were poor quality. I also purchased some longer and more sturdy anchors for the ground and it is also anchored to my fence and previous coop area. I wound up purchasing hardware cloth and metal zip ties and am very happy. I was able to easily put this together myself (with a knee injury-I was rushing to get it done before surgery). It was easily modifiable to make the area a bit bigger for where I chose to put it. Out of the box…I think it may not hold up so well, but with a few modifications, I think it will last me a long time! ... show more
