Seems like sturdy material but lets NO air through. Maybe I'm wrong but I thought that a shade cloth was supposed to let some air through so it doesn't act like the sail of a ship and take off with your patio furniture and a nearby tree!?? It was purchased for a small area..size was perfect however it can't be used until we go to a hardware store to purchase hardware to install for use... disappointed

I know the hardware is not included, only the ropes, but it would have been nice to have a picture/diagram of some kind.

A triangular shape doesn’t block much sun - rectangular would be a lot better. I have no idea if it stops water because I live in California and we’re rather short of rain lately. One of the tie points broke in a fairly windy day, but it should have held - this is, after all, a sail.

The piece of material that holds the attachment rings are crap. Bought a little over a month ago and 3 out of 4 rings became detached (right after the return window). The material frayed. Sun only (No rain so far in Texas). Disappointed.

Very happy with this product so far. We needed a shade sail for our backyard, which is in direct sun most of the day.
