Whisper quiet - it's a little high, so I purchased a step for my senior boy. The only issue I find is sometimes when he pees it hits the sifter (orange) so the little sticks a little when it cleans. This is an easy fix - I just take the sifter off, tap it a bit in the box until the litter comes off and then do a manual clean cycle. I assume it's because he's a male and that is just how they pee sometimes. SO glad I purchased this - making my life much easier!

Update: after having this liter box for about 2 weeks i do not recommend at all just like a recent review said when the cat pees or poops the stuff gets stuck to the material every time and has our house smelling worse than when we had a regular box, the feces gets smeared on the top of the box when it does the cleaning and you also have to empty way more often and because of all the nastiness sticking you have to clean the barrel every other day if you don’t want your house to smell i wish i would of gone with another option This liter box is great so far we just got it easy set up app works great only reason i give it 4 stars is because the product measurements were wayyyyyyy off the thing is huge i got it because of what the measurements said because we wanted to fit it in our kitty cabinet and we can’t now Came back to edit: After having the liter box for almost a week I’ve noticed it does not sense when she goes to the bathroom everytime or if there is poop in there and i have to manually do it. Another update: seller said he’d give me a 50 dollar refund and never did and then stopped responding

Good for basic day to day use when you’re home to monitor BUT has some BIG design flaws! FLAWS: 1. Box closes completely when the catch tray gets full on the back end (full tray only half full- with front end empty so have to move waste to front of tray). This PREVENTS CAT FROM ACCESSING THE LITTER BOX AT ALL! (This would be bad for cats that have a tendency to use the bathroom outside of boxes and when cats are left alone r/t owner travel). When this first happened I couldn’t figure out from the manual or insert what the problem was. All you have to do to fix it is remove the waste catch pan underneath and it automatically reopens. *** A better solution would be for it to have an alert light when it needs emptying, stop scooping the waste, and allow cat to still access the litter. In that case waste will build up like a traditional litter box.*** 2. It will empty waste even when the catch bin is not underneath it, dumping it directly onto the floor. 3. Sometimes, clumps of waste fall out the back onto the floor during the automatic scooping. Owners will need to check behind the box and clean this up. Would be bad for carpeted areas. 4. Catch bin slide on loosely so not great for odor control and sometimes you can’t easily tell if it’s on the tracks. 5. App is not good

I had the big round dome cat litter box that died, so I purchased this thinking. My cats might really like it because it was open. It took them a hot minute to get used to it. I do not like that when it flips back sometimes. The poop rolls onto the back of the floor also it only goes for about 2 days because the cat poop stays at 1 end of the cat litter box trash and the cat litter box will stay closed so the cats can't use it. So you kind of have to clean it at least every other day which is kinda sad because my dome one I would get 4 to 5 days, so I'm not sure this is really a bargain. And a bang for your buck, if you're looking for something that's easy and hassle, free.It's a hassle

Very impressed. Highly recommend it I have 3 cats and they all use it. It saves a lot of time no it having to scoop the litter box. Very little noise when it’s cleaning. Very good quality. Not to heavy.
