It only has a 2 inch smaller diameter than a normal umbrella, but the length when folded up is 4 or more inches shorter. I bought to put in my backpack when I walk to work just in case. I've used it a few times now and it works great.

The peacock print is blue and not green as advertised. There is only a tiny sliver of green in the whole design. I ordered this to match my bag but it clashes. Edit: I was issued a refund

After using this umbrella through a couple storms I can say it’s a great umbrella. It’s folds up to a nice and compact form and with a press of a button it opens up. No need to manually push it open. The only con is the size when it’s open. I wish it was a bit bigger in size. It feels like it’s in between a kids umbrella and a regular umbrella in size. I was looking for fun printed AND sturdy umbrellas and found these! These were helpful in the hot California sun. I like that the umbrella ends aren’t so sharp like other umbrellas and user friendly to open and close. I purchased 4, and a hinge broke on 2 of them. I reached out to customer service and Nancy is easy to work with and timely in her communication, and the company provides a lifetime warranty on your purchases.
