My husband has trouble hearing so I ordered this to see if it might help. He's never used a hearing aid before and other than using headphones to watch tv hasn't tried anything to help. After using it today, he's found that it works a little differently than he'd imagined. Sounds around him are amplified and when the room is quiet around him there is a "background" noise. He compared it to the radio or the sound a cassette player sometimes made between songs. He found that it doesn't help much with the tv, and the tone of voice still determines if he'll hear it well. With face to face conversations though, he found it very helpful. When first testing it out, we were very surprised to find that he could hear me speaking quietly from across the house. I don't know if it's spy-level hearing, but it's a definite improvement.

What really surprised me was the voice clarity. I’ve got neighbors who like to stop and chat at the mailbox, and for the first time in a while, I followed the whole back-and-forth without smiling politely and guessing. That meant a lot. I also noticed I don’t keep turning the TV up anymore—volume stays at one level, and I’m hearing every line. Wearing them is pretty much effortless. They don’t stick out and they don’t itch or press against my ears. I can even lie down on the couch with them in. I’ve only had to recharge once since I got them, and they hold power better than I expected.

I bought these after my old hearing aids became uncomfortable and started giving me feedback noise. These are lightweight and fit nicely in the ear—after a few minutes I forget I’m even wearing them. The 32-channel sound makes a noticeable difference; I can hear my grandkids clearly without straining. The auto noise-canceling works surprisingly well in crowded restaurants too. Battery life is solid, and the UV case is a great bonus for hygiene.

I like to go hiking in the suburbs on weekends. In the past, because of my poor hearing, I always felt that there was something between me and nature. This hearing aid allows me to hear the sound of wind blowing through leaves, birds singing and insects chirping again, and I feel very relaxed. It is light to wear and has a long battery life. Even on the top of a windy mountain, the noise reduction function makes me feel at ease. It is a very worthwhile treasure in my outdoor equipment.

I got these for my dad who’s been missing parts of conversations lately. He doesn’t like bulky devices or anything that draws attention, so the fact that these are so tiny was a win from the start. They’re light and practically invisible when he’s wearing them. After trying them out during dinner, he mentioned how he could hear everyone clearly—even the grandkids who usually mumble.
