I love that it’s 50 feet!! I live on the second floor in a rural area, so I use my dryer outlet to recharge about once every 2 weeks for my schedule. It’s definitely not as fast as a supercharger, but it’s way faster than a regular 3-prong outlet. It takes about 12 hours to fully recharge from my dryer outlet, and 24 hours on a regular one. I store it in the bottom of the trunk underneath my other standard chargers. Fits perfect! Way cheaper on my energy bill than supercharging too.

Fantastic! Love the long cord! I was looking for a level 2 charger that could reach the far end of our driveway in case I couldn’t park near our garage - depending if my other car was in my spot. This thing uses a thick cord, correctly rated for the length of the run and has a solid build quality of the transformer and the handle. I put my transformer box in a garden hose reel unit to keep it away from the elements and it gives me a way to store the extra cord when not in use. The only thing I didn’t like was the lack of heat shrink tubing or some other weather protectant over the connection between the converter to the pigtail going to the outlet. But that was a quick $6 fix with some big heat shrink tubing to protect the connection from the elements.

I'm very happy with this charger, it has definitely eased my home charging anxiety. Before this purchase it took about 26 hours to fully charge my Leaf. It takes about 8 hours now to put a full charge on the battery. My charging situation is probably a little different than a lot of homes, I'm able to run the 50 foot cord from my car and through my house to the utility closet where the washer and dryer sit. I'm lucky that the 220 outlet sits right above the dryer, so its easy to unplug the dryer and plug in the charger. So I had no extra expenses for adding level-2 charging for this awesome car. The only thing I can't do is dry clothes and charge my car at the same time, I just have to remember to put plastic on my car seat if I'm wearing wet clothes.

I recently moved into a 100 year old with no exterior outlets or a garage. Was in a bind trying to figure out how to charge my 2015 Chevy Volt. This allows me to use the 240v dryer outlet I have inside the house. The cord is long enough to span the distance of my house from the laundry room in the front and make it all the way to back of my driveway. It's worked perfect! Full charge in under 4 hours. No need for an electrician or a fancy charging station. Absolutely worth the cost. I've been using the charger for 3 months every day now completely outside, no cover in rain and snow and have not had any charging issues.

The original charger that came with our car took over 5 hours to charge - now we are getting a full charge in 2 hours. Great value for the $$$ - we hooked up a level 2 outlet on the front so we are an EV friendly house now. We would suggest getting a hanger for ease of use. Thanks for the great product!
