I LOVE this scooter. I have one viable foot, so light is important - true to form, it's 27.5 lbs (I do not use the armrests). Without the battery 27.5 l bs, even with it, I can still manage just fine! I easily navigated streets in Europe with carry-on luggage (underneath my knees and the seat), no issues. This was only after two weeks with it. I showed it off to many others as no one could believe it is so easy & light to travel with (many demonstrations). 18" wide means it fits through almost any doorway with no troubles at all. Both AA & KML approved for the airplane DOOR check-in. Less than a few minutes to fold, battery out, and it's all smooth sailing - well worth the money! And it looks pretty dang cute too!

Love the looks and light weight. That and ease of folding will make it perfect for travel plans. It handles well and speeds can easily be controlled. My only concern is the small teeth on the folding arm. Need to be sure it is tight when used to prevent stripping the teeth.

I am quite pleased with this scooter. I considered several scooters before I purchased this one. The help provided by the manufacturer before I purchased this scooter was very important. The responses were prompt and helpful. The scooter arrived.promptly and ahead of the promised date. Set up was easy . I could do it all myself. I find the scooters narrow width and responsive steering make it easy to use inside and outside . The variable speed settings are very helpful. The battery life and the distance I can travel is quite good. Weight was a determiner. I can lift this scooter by myself, which is important . I can lift the collapsed scooter into my trunk, a significant factor . I will be using for travel and home use. Very important factors for travel are the size and the battery specifications The size and the battery of this unit meet the requirements of the two major airlines I will be using. Several other manufacturers inaccurately claimed their batteries met airline travel standards. It took a number of calls to airlines to get their requirements. Each have their own, very specific requirements. I bought a heavy duty bag and the scooter becomes simply another piece of luggage. I find this scooter the best for home use and travel.

We needed to find a lightweight portable scooter quickly because the one I had been using for several years suddenly quit working and there is not a repairman in our area that services the brand that I had. We were able to find this scooter on Amazon and thankfully it was delivered a few days earlier than predicted. Luckily it is light weight enough that my wife is able to lift it and get it in and out of the back of our SUV. It fits perfectly in our vehicle and we love the fact that it remains stationary in the car without bouncing around like my previous scooter that was in 3 separate pieces and did not sit level. I have only used this scooter twice but so far I am pleased with it. It is compact and simple to operate. We have also been very impressed with the prompt and helpful assistance we have received from the Freewink Customer Service Team since purchasing the scooter. I look forward to many years of service from this piece of equipment.

This scooter met all of our needs. It is very lightweight due to the carbon fiber body. It can be easily carried up steps or put in the back of a SUV vehicle. It easily travels on a gravel driveway and on a relatively smooth lawn. The tight turning radius makes it easy to use it inside a house. Also, easy to charge and the charge lasts a good while. I would buy it again.

The scooter is everything that the manufacturer claims. It is lightweight and operates on all-terrain. It Is made of carbon fiber which reduces the weight and makes it easy to load it into your car. My 85 year-old wife can load without help. Its maneuverability is excellent. I have been able to guide it around very small medical office rooms with no problem. I am 6‘2“ and it’s very comfortable to ride .

The FreeWink Scooter is a delight! My husband has mobility issues and being able to ride around the neighborhood now on his scooter is a very freeing experience for him. He's able to spend more time outdoors and talk to people on his rides. He's his old self again as he's a very outgoing person. We took it on a flight from the mainland to our home in Hawaii, and it worked out so well. We carried the battery with us into the cabin, and the rest folded up nicely and was put in with the checked luggage, at no cost to us. Husband is again "King of the Road"! It's light weight and manageable even for folks in their 80's. The battery lasts for many outings and is easy to recharge when needed. It looks sleek and is comfortable to ride. Our engineer son is very impressed that it's made of carbon fiber which makes it strong but lightweight. We store it in the living room and it doesn't take up much room. So you see WE LOVE IT!

This is my first Amazon review, but I wanted to share how happy I am with this wheelchair. My old electric wheelchair weighed about 90 pounds, and it was very hard to take anywhere. My husband has back problems, so lifting it into the car was always difficult. This wheelchair weighs only around 27 pounds, and it has made such a big difference. He can lift it into our Honda sedan without any trouble, and we still have room for groceries. Because it's so lightweight, I've been going out a lot more. So far I've taken it shopping and to the mall, and I'm planning to use it for the Fourth of July fireworks at the park. This wheelchair has given me more freedom and made it much easier for us to go places. I'm very pleased with this purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a lightweight electric wheelchair.
