I used to keep my pool cover as a teepee using my ladder. But unfortunately keeping the ladder in the water at all times causes it to rust. I was looking for a way to keep my pool cover from collecting rainwater for the water would fall down the sides. This pillow works fantastic for the problem that I was having. In searching for a later I discovered this pillow and it was the best thing that I could have bought much cheaper than a ladder that I would end up having to throw away eventually because it too would rust out. This pillow is very durable heavy duty and I think it's going to hold up and last for a good long time. It holds the air remarkably it has not lost one bit of air since I first blew it up. I know it's probably meant to be used to winterize a pool but I use it in the summer season. I have a nice pool cover and I use clips to hold the pool cover on very tightly so that the water cannot pool and I don't have to dip out tons of water when it rains. I would recommend this to anybody that's searching for a way to keep their pool cover from squishing down into the pool every time it rains.

Its a durable pillow. Great quality! The problem is when you try to put on your cover! If it's fitted, or even a foot wider than the actual pool, it no longer fits! You need a much larger cover to make up for the height you've created. I took out most the air. Didnt help much. Bought a second before I fit the cover. Thr second took in some water. Make sure the inflation valve is fully engaged! Hated to return them, but I had no use for either.
