This is a super strong and durable outdoor umbrella, it’s hard to scratch and very nice appearance. It’s easy to assemble, took me about 20 minutes to assemble, can open and close easily, and can withstand strong winds and is very impressive. It’s very large and great for the summer it has solar lights for the night and you can’t feel the heat under it during the day. Overall this umbrella is incredible for its price

I would never buy this umbrella unless you are OK with the color fading to an unrecognizable color and then getting absolutely no customer support. We bought this two years ago and only after one summer. Did the product go from Navy blue to light purple! Unbelievable especially since they specifically say the umbrella is fade resistant. I texted customer support through Amazon and got a email back the next day saying that the umbrella is no longer warranted and fading is very normal and actually they told me to keep it out of the sun when it is not in use whatever that actually means. I responded that, they misrepresent the product on Amazon‘s own site and then got another email back saying that they’ll give me 5% off a new umbrella! Actually, all I was asking for was a replacement of the fabric even offering to pay for it! When I got my third response that they don’t have the fabric separate from the umbrella this is not an insignificant purchase price and when you are certainly trying to create a nice outdoor scene with the right colors, everything we have on our pool furniture is navy blue, this does not work. I’m not gonna say anything about it being made in China because so is my iPhone and I love it, but I think the response from customer support was absolutely inappropriate especially when I’m offering to buy a new fabric. So do yourself a favor and look elsewhere, I don’t care what color you get it is going to fade into an unrecognizable color. And the worst part is you can’t do anything about it not even offered to buy a new fabric!! Wow. Amazon should really do something about this.

It’s nice. Shades an uncovered section of porch with southern exposure. Normally we cannot use that section in the summer. I like the color. One complaint: The solar lights are very, very dim despite long exposure to bright sunlight all day long.

This is a value umbrella without question, but overall, considering what you get, it’s a great umbrella. It came packaged well with no damage. It has the standard cross base that can be bolted down but the buying value for me was price and not having to buy a separate base. The weight is two nylon bags you can only fill with sand, no water. The fill holes are Velcro but are big enough you can just pour the sand in without a funnel or trouble. Those sacs you place over the base crossbars. It calls for 65lbs each, but we used about 80 each because our space can be a bit of a wind tunnel. Fit well without spilling over. I don’t particularly like the base cover as it’s just thin nylon with 4 hooks that latch to the base stabilizers, but they’re not terrible. My dog stepped on the base and one of the clips unhooked, but it’s easy enough to rehook. The fabric is value, and had a lot of loose threads and wrinkles that never seem to leave, but it opens tight and ok for us, again considering. The lights were just a nice to have because we needed an umbrella and they’re not bright at night, but they are solar and do give a nice ambient light vs no light at all. You can see enough to navigate, but don’t think you’re getting full spectrum. The metal stands and extensions are good. They’re not the thickest, but they’re certainly not that thin stuff, so we’re confident in leaving it open and unattended. There’s also a safety pin for inserting fully through the post under the frame, so that’s also a good extra feeling of security. The crank works like you’d expect, very simple and quick. We had sudden winds pick up midday a few days ago, about 50mph gusts, but the umbrella didn’t move a lick. It stayed sturdy and didn’t even sway! So while there are things to be desired, for a relatively inexpensive price we got what we needed.

The parasol was received and the color is better than the one in the picture. It is very easy to install. It was raining and windy here for the past two days, but it didn't affect it at all. The quality is very good.
