Like the generous shade provided Dislike how it wrinkles when rolling up Fabric rolls up unequally thus causing wrinkles Would have paid a little more for batter fabric

I had an awning already in place but the Fabric had disintegrated. I thought that I would have to pay someone locally to sew new fabric and thought that would be very expensive. that’s why I bought this awning. it turned out to be far less robust from a hardware perspective than the old one that was there. I ended up using the fabric with the old hardware. I suppose that the purchased unit would have worked but it wasn’t nearly as strong. Also the fabric isn’t very strong and I don’t know how long it will last. The Iesson I learned was that if the mechanism is still in good shape find a place to create new fabric for it. There seem to be places on the Internet that can do that for you.

I consider this awning a great value. I have installed it and really find the functionality quite excellent. The directions could be better as the drawings are a little hard to discern at times and assembly is definitely required. It should be put together by someone with a pretty good sense of how to work with mechanical things. I just put it up so don't know about longevity. You'll need two ladders and two people to do the final installation onto the wall brackets.

It is true, instructions are poor, however, with a little of patience installation is easy. It is a light unit, manufacturing is good quality and all peaces fit smoothly. Best is price, it is really affordable, we got several budgets for similar units all them were close to $2K. I am giving only four stars because durability test is only in progress.
