So, I knew these would be your average stainless steel bowl, nothing to write home about. However, the metal itself is rather thin and doesn't seem very sturdy. The lids don't fit super well, and after washing them they left a dark residue on the counter. These are nice bowls. I read some reviews that said the lids don't snap on correctly but I have not found that so far. I think those reviewers might be a bit picky. The lids snap on fine and the bowls fit inside each other.

    • Lids leave A LOT to be desired
These are great mixing bowls, which was my biggest need, but had I been looking for more of a travel bowl set, this would not be it. The lids are not secure, flimsy, and warped. If you're here for the lids, keep scrolling.

    • Easy to clean and use but lids are not great
These bowls work great, are easy to clean and lighter than glass bowls. However the lids don't stay closed. Also as they do stack together they sometimes get stuck together a little and can be a little annoying. Overall not bad.

I really like the stainless steel bowls. What I don't like is when mixing and turning the bowls I get gray fingers from the rim of the bowl, also my mixer which has rounded beaters scratches the inside of the bowl

    • 2 out of 3 lids do not fit well; but all bowls are fine as mixing bowls
12/31/22: Update- now none of the lids fit... Returning for another set of stainless steel mixing bowls (found on Amazon that do have great fitting lids, weighted bottoms, and have a pour spout)!! As far as just the bowls themselves, they are totally fine and functional as mixing bowls. I like that the mixing bowls nest within themselves, but it's really annoying and senseless that the lids don't exactly snap into place (2 out of the 3 lids are ever so slightly too small). The lids are good enough if you don't need an airtight cover, and I wouldn't place anything on top of the covered bowls... I'll probably still keep them - I was only looking for mixing bowls and the lids were just a supposedly added bonus. ... show more
