Rufus had no idea it wasn't and guessed the first reviewer said it paired well w/her phone bec she felt it worked well w/her phone to help her understand the caller. This is not a hearing aid device. It pairs w/your phone because it is a bluetooth wireless ear bud headset. I meant to get a spare hearing aid for home bec I like to listen to NPR news and sometimes have problems understanding voices, esply when I'm in an adjoining rm from where my radio is located. When I saw this supposed hearing aid for $20, I thought I'd give it a try. Well, it does what I want--voice amplification--but it operates like any ear bud. I use my local NPR station's streaming app and have also noticed music is more defined to me. My phone also gives me the option of listening in Dolby. Lovely, really. It works well on wifi when I leave one area of my house for another and even outside in my yard. I have a modem but no router. This device lets me listen to NPR when I'm on the computer, another plus. While the item's box says it is a sport headset, I would not use it in the gym as it can fall out at times. I would also hesitate to use it around water, eg when you're bending over a rain barrel or sink, lest it fall out at some point. You can carefully wear a hat w/it but don't put up a jacket hood bec the ear buds will likely fall out if you do. Like any open ear bud, you can hear ambient background noise, like if a cat meows. That is actually a good thing in my book. I was thinking of getting an open ear bud anyway and now I have one. The instructions are printed in Chinese and in tiny English characters beneath each line. There is a warranty, but it asks for your info (I assume name, address, city and state, country and zip code, email and phone) in Chinese. No idea how long the warranty is good for or what's covered. Not even sure where to send it. For $20, if the headset lasts a year, this is a bargain. I guess I'll find out. I am a newbie to this technology, and it took me 3 days to master it fully. This headset is definitely worth a try!

Very reluctant to order because being doubtful that the hearing aids would work. Wow!!!! I was completely surprised! The aids are wonderful . I cannot believe the difference in what I can hear wearing them ! My husband has expensive hearing aids and he cannot believe how well these work and how similar they look. I have been wearing them all day and never have they hurt my ears. You pair them your phone. Comes in nice box with all kinds of tips and directions. Also there is a bar code to scan for product info and set up which I did not need! It's unbelievable how much better it is to be able to understand the tv clearly.!!! So very pleased!!!! This BH-R55-03 hearing aids is a cost effective alternative to theexie B 2plus hearing aids.

Great price on hearing aids almost identical to the ones I've been wearing for several years. I prefer the over the ear style, and the sound is amazing! I would definitely recommend after trying some other, often less expensive brands, They have to be charged overnight for best results, but I was used to that.

We got these for my mom who already has a different pair of hearing aids, but the feedback whistling and noise she was getting from them was just horrible. She needed something more functional and wanted clear sound so we tried these, and they’re impressive! These arrived nicely packaged in sealed plastic. Upon opening the box, the charging case of the hearing aids catches your eye right away as it is silver and very classy looking. The hearing aids actually arrived charged and ready for my mom to use. The package brought 7 pairs of domes in a variety is sizes to perfectly fit within the ear. Once she selected the dome that fit best into her ear canal, all she had to do was put the hearing aid over the ear and press the button for 3 seconds for them to come on. The portion that fits over and behind the ear is ergonomic and light. She didn’t feel it much at all throughout the day, and it didn’t slide off or move around. There’s several options to select how clear you would like these to be depending whether you’re indoors, on the phone, watching tv, out in a restaurant, etc. There’s a total of 6 audio profiles that you may adjust to different environments. She mentioned the clarity was unbelievable compared to her previous hearing aids. She did not get the ugly feedback or whistling or have any issues hearing conversations clearly. All the adjustments are done easily right on the hearing aid. One plus about this set is that you may wear them for the whole day on one charge. My mom wore them all day into the evening without the battery giving out. They were still charged when she went to bed. The charging case is portable and lightweight. It also serves as a UV cleaner for the hearing aids, which is a fantastic option. The cable for charging is included as well as a little tiny brush for cleaning debris, wax guards and a storage pouch. Full instructions on using these are included and are easy to follow. There’s also warranty and company information in case of any problems. My mom has been wearing them for about 4 days now as I wanted to be sure they worked out for her, and she loves them. They have not failed at all. These might be a little more expensive than other OTC hearing aids, but they are worth it! Recommend them!
