This tackle set is a great idea for a young fisherman, or an older one that's just starting in the fishing game. This is a complete starter kit all wrapped up in one package, with a nice bag to haul it around in. There is a 3500 series tackle box stuffed with an assortment of tackle that's more than enough to get you started, along with a small assortment of tools most would consider necessary. In that tackle box there are a couple of hard baits, a small assortment of soft plastic, jig heads, the hooks, and terminal tackle required to rig the plastics, for proven fish catching techniques. The tools included a braid/line cutting scissors with lanyard, a pair of multi-function fishing pliers, and a lip gripper for holding fish. The sling bag is a good size for bank fishing, and has enough room for another 3500 series boxes, or two of the larger 3600 series boxes as you get more tackle. There are a couple of outside pouches for gear, with MOLE attachment slots to add more pouches for added room, and a compartment to keep the fishing pliers handy. There is a place to carry a water bottle on one side, and rod storage on the other. This is a good gift choice for a new fisherman, or a nice set up for a bank fisherman wanting to travel light.

This is a really well-thought-out fishing sling bag and accessory kit. The bag itself is compact enough to carry comfortably without feeling bulky, but it still provides plenty of storage for tackle, tools, line, and other fishing essentials. I especially like the sling-style design because it is much easier to carry when walking the bank, hiking to a fishing spot, or moving around frequently compared to hauling a traditional tackle box. The included 3500-size tackle box is a nice addition and makes it easy to keep hooks, weights, lures, and smaller tackle organized. The kit also comes with a surprisingly good assortment of fishing accessories and tools, making this a convenient all-in-one setup. There are plenty of attachment points and compartments, so frequently used items can be kept within easy reach instead of digging through the main compartment every time. The bag feels durable, the zippers operate smoothly, and the adjustable strap makes it comfortable to wear for extended periods. I got this to use with my kids, who want to learn to fish - and I'm learning too. What I can tell so far, is that the single-strap design is comfortable to wear and easy to swing around to grab gear without taking the whole thing off, which makes a real difference on trips where you're moving around. It seens spacious without feeling bulky, and the pockets are laid out well enough that pliers, line, and small tools stay organized instead of getting jumbled together at the bottom. The included tackle box fits the bag nicely, and comes stocked with a solid variety of lures, soft plastics, hooks, and jig heads to get started. The tools that come with it, a gripper, pliers, and scissors, are sturdy enough for regular use, and the small extras like the bottle holder and Velcro patch panel are nice practical touches. Build quality feels okay throughout, with smooth zippers and durable seeming material. The instructional booklet is a genuinely useful addition. Comes with everything you need. I don’t recommend this for salt water fishing though. More like river fishing on the bank. You get so many different style lures. So many different weights. A telescopic fishing pole. Clampers and scissors. You get a fish holder as well. The bag isn’t a book bag, unless you’re a toddler. I know in the pictures it seems bigger than what it is. But it’s more like a crossbody bag. But you’re able to pack it slam tight with everything that comes with it. The bag itself is made very well. No issues with it ripping, tearing. No zipper issues either. Adjustable strap for comfort. The pole works fine, your typical telescopic pole. All lures are nice and sharp on the hooks, the single hooks are nice and sharp as well and don’t overly easily bend. The weights are good as well with the amount you get. This is a great beginner set for a kid or even a great set for an adult who likes to fish and wants to have something super compact that they can carry around with them and it not take up a lot of space.

This is the perfect tackle kit for beginners and an excellent addition for seasoned fisherman. The bag is a single strap shoulder bag that can be attached to either side for comfort. It’s spacious and compact. Its squared off shape allows it to fit up to a 3600 size box (a 3500 size is included). The camo pattern is nice and isn’t tacky by any means. A Velcro area allows you to show off patches and the MOLLE webbing and clip loops allow for great expansion and tool attachment points. The kit itself comes with a large sturdy fish gripper, a basic plier (with split ring tip), and basic scissors along with an inexpensive bungee cord. The 3500 tackle box includes a nice variety of lures, an assortment of soft plastics, beads, o rings, and SHARP hooks+jig heads. The included guide for each item is a nice touch. I think it’s some excellent literature for beginners and a fun quick read for vets. Overall, an awesome kit for the price and the perfect gift for any fisherman in your life.

For around $40, this is a great tackle sling bag with a lot of bonus products included. The only thing missing is a rod and reel. The size is a bit small but effective and efficient for carrying the staples of fishing. I like that it has a rod and bottle holder as well as comes with tackle, pliers, lip grips, scissors, etc. Tye bag seems a great value for the money, looks cool, and seems durable so far. Very satisfied.
