Whistling is common for small amplifiers and is known as "Feedback".it is caused by amplified sound from the hearing aids getting back to the micropphone and being re-amplified.The folloring tips will help reduce the occurrence of feedback whistle Help with Whistling 1.Reduce the volume. Turn off or lower the volume before inserting the instrument in your ear. 2.Securely position the instrument into your ear. Once the hearing aid is properly seated in your ear,the whistling will generally stop. 3.Clear the ear canal of wax or debris. Check your ear with help. 4.Change the ear piece or tubing Change a new one or a different size one. Make sure the tubing is not broken or torn.

Pleasantly Surprised
I'll admit, I was a bit skeptical about these hearing aids at first. I've tried others in the past that were either uncomfortable or didn't provide much improvement. But these have been a pleasant surprise. They fit snugly in my ears without feeling intrusive, and the sound quality is much better than I expected. Just received these little guys and wow - they pack quite a punch for their size! The 16-channel system really does make a difference in sorting out voices from background noise. They're practically invisible in my ears (got the skin tone ones) and the charging box is compact enough to slip into my pocket. Haven't had them long but already noticing clearer sound quality, especially when watching TV. The volume adjustment is smooth and natural.
