I sustained a back injury a couple of years ago. Three bulging discs in my lower back. It's taken a lot of physical therapy and exercise to recover from. I've got ice packs and they work for what I need them for. They don't stay cold for much longer than 15-20 minutes, but they're okay. But then I hurt my left shoulder a few months ago, and those ice packs weren't working so well. Very awkward and I couldn't adjust them to where I needed the cold to be. I needed something that worked better. I found these. There's a lot of shoulder packs to find on Amazon but I didn't like how so many of them looked super bulky. It's good to have ice where you need it, but I also like mobility. I found Newgo and decided I would try it out. I love this company's products so much that I decided to check to see if they had ice packs for your back. When I saw they do I didn't hesitate to make the purchase. This pack stays comfortably on my lower back and doesn't move. It's so easy to put the ice pack in and just as easy to put on. The velcro is solid but not so solid you can't get it on but not back off. It works like a dream. This is very reasonably priced and, unlike the shoulder pack, this comes with 2 gel packs. I use both to alternate heat and ice as needed. I know enough chiropractors, massage therapists, and physical therapists to know that the rule for muscles is 15 minutes of heat and 15 minutes of ice. With this you can do both and it is wonderful and comfortable. Like I've told my little brother, when you get older it's like the check engine light is always on, so it is good to stock up on items that improve your quality of life. Something in/on your body is going to flare up and hurt eventually, so it's good to have an ice pack ready for it when it does. This is a pretty good company to go with. I'm impressed with their products.

I'm so happy with this purchase. The belt is big enough to cover the entire lower back. It comes with 2 sturdy ice packs that fit securely in a velcroed pouch so they don't slide around on you. I wear the belt on my walks to stabilize my lower back, and it's given me great support and pain relief. Much better than the puny belts you get at places like Walgreens. Highly recommend.

This product works great for my hip bursitis! I can walk around with it on as well as sit comfortably. I prefer to lie flat to give my hip full rest, and obviously it works well for that position. The shape & style of the wrap is awesome! It touches all aspects of my hip and the cold will even get to my body thru jeans. I’ve worn it for more than 30 minutes, and when I take it off, my skin is still comfortably cold. The wrap really keeps the compress coldness constant. The wrap is plenty long enough for someone larger than myself, and I wear a size 12 or 14 pants. At first I only put the compresses in the freezer, but once I tried it in the freezer with the wrap it actually kept a semicircular shape which made it easier to put on.

I manage to get a terrible herniated dics during kickboxing. I have suffer from this pain since 10 weeks now. I bought this to do ice therapy and hot therapy. I like the belt/ pouch. It’s Velcro and attached fast and nice over my stomach. Best thing I comes with 2x ice packs for a wonderful price. Compared to other sellers. My only issue is that ice pack is so thin. It wears off within 20 mins. I need more ice packs in my freezer. When I swap it out I put my hot clay pack in the pouch for Hot therapy. That works as well. Very nice purchase. It has helped me a lot to function in midst of pain.

I just had my second spine surgery. With the 1st surgery of the cervical spine, I needed an ice pack to help deal with the severe muscle spasms of my shoulders so in preparation for the second surgery, I decided to go ahead and purchase the Newgo Back Ice Wrap ahead of time. 1. The most valuable part of this for me is that there are 2 ice packs which freeze very quickly. This means that there is no reason to be without an ice pack. When I need a new icepack, the other is ready. I simply switch them out and drop the "melted" one in the freezer to refreeze. 2. The shape of the ice packs and the wrap make it easy to put the ice packs in the proper place to close up the wrap and keep the ice packs secure. 3. The wrap serves as a brace for my back as well. 4. The wrap stays in place and does not bind. 5. I can actually use the wrap as a brace to help position myself since bending, lifting, or twisting is not allowed after this surgery. 6. The wrap quickly conforms to my back and is comfortable to wear. 7. The ice packs are essentially flat and fit easily into an over-stuffed freezer.

I have been dealing with chronic back pain for over a year (herniated L5 and left & right SI joint dysfunction) and this ice pack has been amazing! I used to have to lie down on a smaller ice pack trying to relieve pain, but with this I can strap it around my back and do whatever. The velcro is strong so the ice pack stays on while I’m doing other things, I even wear it at work. I bartend and wait tables so this ice pack provides amazing relief immediately when I’ve been moving around a little too much. I also wear it while I do stuff around the house and it makes painful tasks a little easier, which is a huge deal! It comes with two ice packs and one wearable pouch. The ice packs stay cold for a good amount of time and actually seem to refreeze pretty quickly. It’s so convenient to be able to switch them out and not have to wait forever to ice again. I have not tried the heat feature on this but I give the coldness a 10/10 on pain relief and convenience! I’ve been using this throughout the day, every day since I got it two months ago and it’s still in great condition and really comfortable. Highly recommend!

I bought this for my hubby when his back was injured. It was very helpful! It is made well and seems quite sturdy. It fits him well, is easy to put on and take off, and he can use it on more than just his back. Also, he said that it is comfortable to wear. We like that it has both a hot pack and a cold pack. The cold pack stayed cold for a nice amount of time. Great purchase!
