Once applied to the bike, it's very durable and looks great! Getting it onto the bike takes some patience and has a slight learning curve. This was quite easy to install once I got the hang of it. Be sure to watch the video. When I started, I was using too much water -- use a very small amount of the finest mist you can get. You're looking for "there might be some water there..." vs "i can see the droplets". Once you hit it with the hair dryer, it almost melts onto the bike frame. Product is easy to cut and shape. Great product, easy to install but a little hard to cut. Seem durable enough I guess time will tell. Only gave 4 starts because I wish the 4x72 was enough to cover the entire frame (Only covered top tube, down tube, rear triangle 3x & part of the seat tube) See attached photo. This is a genuine frame protection tape, it's THICK! This is a PREMIUM product and expect to take your time. Not the easiest at first, but good things come to those with patience. Clean your frame, use soapy water on your fingers to handle it. Personally, I apply this dry, as long as you don't stick it really hard to start, it's very forgiving to lift up and reposition. Using the application spray will give you more room for error if you're new to this kind of product. Heat is your friend, hair dryer or heat gun, start on the center of one end, heat a small section at a time and press toward the edge. Go slow, be careful and you'll love the outcome. This wrap offers better protection compared to competitors like RideWrap. I've used both and speak from experience. However, there is a trade off. Due to the additional thickness/protection comes the additional challenge of getting this product to lay flat on curved surfaces. So it requires more patience and time to install. IMHO it's worth it, if you are like me and your riding style requires the best protection. For first time install, I recommend getting one of the patterns which easily covers up any air pockets which typically develop from any frame wrap DIY install. This one is more prone to air pockets, again due to stiffness. Any sections where you are heating the wrap up to stretch in order to make it fit flat will likely pull up creating a air pocket, given time. So creating relief cuts along all curve surfaces is the key to getting this to lay flat and stay flat against the frame. Make templates for proper fit before cutting up your wrap. ... show more

Love the look and feel! Giving 3/5 stars for durability. I made sure to follow the application video instructions to a tee, made a whole day of it to really make sure every part was done to the best quality and care. After 2 very mild rides the wrap is already peeling off

I can’t speak to longevity yet because I only got it installed today, but I love the way it looks, and how much of the bike it covers. Way more than my $85 factory wraps. It took me a while to get it installed because I wanted it to look perfect. The cutting and dry fitting took the longest by far. The actual installation was a breeze. The design looks great and it is subtle in certain areas where the color fades to a dark purple. I like the effect. Just follow the video and you won’t be disappointed. The ease of use is awful. This is a very hard and very thick plastic, not a pliable plastic rubber-y type film. I’ve put a few frame protectors on, the expensive kind that aren’t available on Amazon and I’d recommend looking into getting one of those instead. Spend a bit more money and save the headache of using this low quality product. Since none of this is precut and it comes with separate templates and they have to be taped onto the plastic and you have to very slowly an patiently work the cutting out with an exacto knife which LITERALLY takes several HOURS to do all of it. The application of it takes a couple hours too and can’t be done without a heat gun and lots of patience. The versatility of being able to fit different types of frames is also really bad. I got the dragon scale design and The roll I got had weird white blemishes in it. It wasn’t paper backing, it’s just poor quality control from the company. ... show more
