Spent hours trying. It won't work. Just screams. Or you turn it down to stop the scream,this takes hours of adjusting, then it doesn't amplify AT ALL. Yes I followed instructions. FYI theres no one to call for help.

I became almost totally deaf after having covid. I was scared to death it would be permanent. This is a good product and did help me hear however when I turned it up loud enough to hear clearly it squealed badly. Thankfully my hearing loss lasted only 3 weeks and is slowly coming back to normal.

I tried several times and right charging area does not seem to be working, it does not light up like left side. I am sending them back, had I known they were from China, I would not have bought them. They were sent back the next day and I was told to return the broken one in less than 3 weeks?? They sent me a new pair immediately which I am working with right now, I have some problem controlling volume so I get frequent loud buzzing. I advise do not buy from China, no quality there.

The SR01 rechargeable TTC sound amplifier came well package with a good instruction book, a charging box, a charging wire, multiple sized earplugs, two tools and some other bits and pieces. It would have been good if it had included a cheap plastic magnifying glass to be able to see the two controls the user needs to adjust. The ON/OFF switch is just a slide switch so it is not a big problem as long as it can handle the large number of on-off/off-on repetitions, however the volume control is a lot different. It is a very small rotary control and requires many attempts to set it to where the wearer is able to hear at a comfortable volume level without feedback squeals. My picture shows the size of the sound amplifier compared to a 10-cent piece (dime) and you can see the size of two user adjustable controls that are problematic. The 18-inch charging wire is way too short. This appears to be a straight amplifier with no ‘levelling’ to keep a constant volume for different sources/locations. Once the volume is set that is what you get unless you take the sound amplifier out of your ear and readjust the volume control. The earplugs seem to prevent the sound coming out of the sound hole feeding back to the microphone and causing ‘squealing’. Initially there has to be numerous changes of earplug to find the right one. Installing an earplug is a major challenge, especially the small ones, as the plug hole is tight around the sound hole. They also picks up a lot of ambient/background noise. .

When I purchased them I was reluctant.... But after wearing them for a week now. No longer reluctant. They are fabulous! Turn them up, turn them down... Easy peasy! Easy on, easy out. Easy to charge over night! When they are in your ear.... You can barely see it. But easy to get out with little plastic grip.
